Don't like to do this, but with Allentown coming up I figure I might as well see if anyone has a better home for this:

I've got a Williams Laser Ball project currently set up and hogging two machines' worth of space what with it being a wide body and me needing the sides clear to work on it, I'm almost out of space and may be picking a game up next Monday, so soon this will be going into the garage; it's always on the backburner behind 'one other project' and then I pick something else up that goes in front of it in line.

No driver board (stole it for another game). Has an MPU, but has acid damage (I neutralized it with vinegar, etc, but haven't gotten to testing or replacing other components besides the interconnect). Think the head was stored on its side for a while, judging from the stain in the back:
IMG_20160324_115439_(resized).jpgIMG_20160324_115439_(resized).jpg
Acid doesn't seem to have touched anything besides the bottom inch of the board and the area immediately below the (removed) battery holder though, so not that much important to actually be damaged. Even before replacing the interconnect, I managed to get it to boot once, and saw that all the displays were working, the next thing I do when/if I get around to it again is replace the ram and cpu socket (new sockets included if you want them). It's not the rom sockets because I also tested it with a 2764 adapter: http://www.siegecraft.us/pinball/firepoweradapter.htm (great product, and I recommend you buy one, they're only sold out because he can't include the roms due to licensing, but I made my own 2764 that I can include). No idea if any of the original proms are good because they're some weird old pinout that my rom burner can't read. There's also a burn mark under the PIA for the displays, but I've verified all the traces are still good and the displays did work when I got it to boot.

PSU works, verified all voltages, but haven't replaced any caps or anything. Haven't tested the sound board.

Player 4 display missing, forgot to get it when I bought the game originally.

Cabinet is solid but has lots of scratches.

Two different size rusty legs (but I tend to do that anyway to get my games tilted up enough...)

There's a chunk missing from the corner of the playfield glass:
IMG_20160324_115851_(resized).jpgIMG_20160324_115851_(resized).jpg

Backglass was spraypainted on the back by a prior owner to prevent flaking:
IMG_20160324_120209_(resized).jpgIMG_20160324_120209_(resized).jpg
IMG_20160324_120218_(resized).jpgIMG_20160324_120218_(resized).jpg

Playfield is complete with all mechs, though some of the brackets are a bit rusty. No major wear marks besides from in the outlane kicker things and under the sling mylar, but light insert wear and ball swirling. Haven't gotten around to trying to clean it at all. One plastic is broken (left of the pops) but I have a replacement

Have the apron, but it's bent (currently at a metal working friend's to see if they can straighten it). Also have a compatible apron from a Scorpion, but it has a 'lane change' text that isn't applicable to this game.
IMG_20160324_120055_(resized).jpgIMG_20160324_120055_(resized).jpg

Comes with a second playfield with much less insert wear and lane wear, just one spot near the kickout hole:
IMG_20160324_120117_(resized).jpgIMG_20160324_120117_(resized).jpg

Also a new rubber kit from PBR.

Currently located in Duanesburg, NY (half hour west of Albany) but can bring to Allentown with a commitment. Can take more pictures or give you any other info you need. Asking $350.

Picked up a Doodle Bug and Target Alpha in an all or none deal today. Not into EM games.
Doodle Bug works but I did not go through it, I was told Target Alpha doesn't. See pictures for playfield wear. Target Alpha playfield glass broke before I picked up today. Both sets of legs are pretty oxidized.
They are still in my truck and I'd rather not take them in the house and down to the basement. $400 for both as they sit if you can pick them up by Tuesday.

Looks like a couple nice projects there. Since I don't see snow on the ground I'm sure you're not close to here. I think spring is a myth this year! Got 2 inches last night....

Ah if you if just a little closer... and l had the money to spend. Got a bunch of parts from a Laser Ball I (regretfully) parted out years ago and was looking for a replacement cabinet at the minimum and this would be perfect. Just my luck

We're getting hit with it right now. I'm outside Philadelphia. I'm pretty sure it was 70 degrees at one point this week.

**Sold for $750**
Manufacturer: Bally
Game/Type: Playboy / SS 4 Player
Month/Year: December 1978
Production: 18,250
Cost: Current Bid: $750 Ends April 10th 12:10 PM MT
Location: Shrewsbury, MA
Link/Contact: ebay.com link: Playboy Pinball machine

Condition: OP: "being sold as a "non-working" project pin. (Please understand this)
I love this title but I've brought it as far as my limited repair skills (or those of my friends) will take me...I had high hopes to restore this highly collectible pin but it ain't happening. I also thought new EPROMS would bring it around....then I thought a new Altec would would do it...ain't happening!

I think this will make a great restore, or a great "player" pin for the person who has the time and the skills. Please check for yourself on other eBay auctions, sellers are asking between $2000 and $5500 for these pins when running and in decent shape.
* Please don't ask me what is wrong with it...if I knew, I'd have it fixed. This is what I can HONESTLY tell you: My intent is to be honest and upfront about condition. I would rather undersell the condition, than oversell it. * You are not buying a fully working pin.
Electronics
* The machine boots up
* All 4 displays work and are in good shape... but right now they are strobing or blinking (one disconnected in photo)
* I believe the boards are good or repairable
* It is blowing a fuse to the flippers on a regular basis
* The guy I bought it from tried to make repairs and I just cleaned up his mess
* Consider it a NON-WORKING machine!!
* The attraction mode display runs erratic light patterns (???)
* * I have 3 new EPROMS that I will go with the pin
Cosmetics
PLEASE NOTE: Through the "magic" of photography and poor garage lighting, the playfield looks a bit better in photos that it does in person. While very presentable, I don't think the "discerning pinballer" would be happy with overall condition. (This is NOT a pristine pin and it is NOT priced as such)
* Backglass is about an 8+ having been sealed. Presents very nicely with no visible flaking or bubbling beyond what was sealed * Playfield is average, maybe a 7+, with some wear and some poor touch-ups
* The faces of the models still look great
* Cabinet is very solid... and a cosmetic 6, left side pretty rough, right side OK.
* Head does not match cabinet and is faded
* Someone before me painted the inside of the display door white
* Please look at photos carefully
*Lock Down Bar included just not pictured because I had glass out for photos!!
Would love to sell it to someone who can bring it back to life.
Reminder: Being sold as a "non-working" project pin. (Please understand this)"

The backglass is in good condition. The cabinet has some graffiti scratches on the right side. The playfield is worn. Cosmetic issues aside, this machine plays well and is an asset to any man-cave."

**SCAM - This ad has been removed**
This Judge Dredd is worth $140 - or not.

Manufacturer: Midway
Game/Type: Judge Dredd / SS Widebody 4 Player
Month/Year: September 1993
Production: 6,990
Cost: $140
Location: Phoenix, AZ
Link/Contact: phoenix.craigslist.org link

Condition: OP: "In good working order with Deadworld Mod installed. Some blubs have been replaced with LEDs but not all. Cabinet has deep rich color. Playfield is very good condition."

Okay guys and gals, here is the deal on these 'too good to be true' pinball machines for $140. I sent an email on a similar pinball and this is what I got back:

"I'm sorry to say i sold this to another guy. But i wont hide where i got it from. I picked up 2 brand new ones for under $70 from *****.com It's very easy to win. The trick is to bid only when the counter hits 4 seconds."

It was so nice of him to let me in on his little secret!

Oh, the sacrifices I make for my Project Pin Pinballers!

Oh yeah, the first 'pinball for $140' was a Williams Cyclone and the ad is still listed. Amazing! Perhaps the first buyer didn't come through! The contact information was located in the make / manufacturer: section. I don't know if this is Phoenix only, but this is the second ad I've seen. Moral of the story, don't waste your time on these!

Ok, i'm not sure, but you're calling bullshit on these right? The Cyclone ad has pics stolen from a pinsider in Nebraska who's selling that game here and on ebay I believe... https://pinside.com/pinball/forum/topic/for-sale-cyclone-williams-1988-1993

These scam ads have been popping up all over in the last couple weeks. The two red flags are the price and the mangled Gmail address in the post. Most people supply their email address through craigslist rather than posting it in public.

Inspect above games in person before you buy. There's been some mis-representation in his games that he ships off ebay, etc., but if you go and buy locally he seems better.

Non-commercial pins don't fetch very much. $200 if fully working and if you want to sit on it a while. $100 and it will probably move.

Kinda what I figured, I know that it's in excellent physical condition, and I was simply told "It's not working".

Not working? $25-$50.

There you have it! I figured i'd make mention of it in case anyone wanted it, it belongs to someone my wife works with, so I could probably get ahold of it if anyone was interested. I'll tell her to send it to the landfill, end of story. Thanks for the info.

Seems like that would be a shame. Surely someone could cough up $25 for it, at least.

True. As I never knew anyone made "EM" home games, only digital ones. Certainly, some history there......

Maybe, but who would pay to ship it from Vegas? I definitely don't know of anyone here that would want it. Perhaps i'll just advise her to put in on CL for $50 and wish her luck!

oooh! Maybe i'll tell her to donate it to the Pinball dump of shame! A tax deduction!

Donate it to a Youth center or a school. EM's are great to learn basic mechanical and electric principles. Then who knows, maybe get some kids interested in the hobby. Hook 'em while they're young!

Quoted from ryandimx:

Picked up a Doodle Bug and Target Alpha in an all or none deal today. Not into EM games.
Doodle Bug works but I did not go through it, I was told Target Alpha doesn't. See pictures for playfield wear. Target Alpha playfield glass broke before I picked up today. Both sets of legs are pretty oxidized.
They are still in my truck and I'd rather not take them in the house and down to the basement. $400 for both as they sit if you can pick them up by Tuesday.

King of Diamonds, 1967 Gottlieb: $425
Here is a chance to pick up a classic game for a reasonable price. It's a project, but if you're handy this could be it. I picked it up a few years ago but have too many other projects going on. No backglass but it is avail online. Cabinet has been stripped so you will need to repaint. Has a nice clear coated playfield. Game is completely disassembled.

Pinball Pool, 1979 Gottlieb: ALL reasonable offers?!
Machine needs a couple of parts, (flipper rubbers, one score paddle). Worked well until nephew came to visit. Do not know what repairs are needed.

Thanks for posting this Ryan, I would have never seen it otherwise.

Bought this over the weekend ($425) and brought it home today across the state. Was only a few miles from my grandkids house where I was visiting. Cabinet is in great shape, backglass has a couple weird scratches but overall not horrible. Needs all new rubber and most of the plastics, many cupped inserts although not as bad as my Vulcan, and then there is the non-working state. It powers on and seems to boot OK, press the button to start a game, it kicks the ball out and appears to rapidly go through the balls to Game Over. Something is stuck or shorted somewhere. All original boards, and there is some corrosion on the board from notorious leaky battery that could definitely be causing issues, but doesn't look too bad should be fixable. At some point in time someone cut two of the connectors and soldered the wires directly to the MPU board, looks like a decent job, but definitely complicates removing the backbox. Anyway, parts to be ordered, corrosion to clean, switches to clean and gap... so basically a project

Pictures are from seller before I checked it out.
