Damn... That is crazy. I have been buying on Goodwill's auction site for quite awhile, it is unusual to see something sell so high compared to normal market.

As mentioned before, that World Cup has a 27% buyers premium, sales tax on top of that, and 2.5% fee for credit card. I reached out to the auction company and asked if they could open the backbox, or if they even have the keys, and they never responded.

Me: stop at Pinball Resource while in town and buy a manual, ting kit, etc from Steve

I am suppose to go look at this stuff this coming weekend. No machines involved from what I understand just basically parts and a Shuffle Alley for parts. Even though I am a parts guy it is highly unlikely I'll be able to pay what the buyer needs for the stuff unless there is a heck of a lot more their than I am expecting. But I will be happy to let anyone know exactly what I see once I look at the stuff in person.

It basically sounds like a half a dozen relay boards & playfields, the shuffle alley with an extra head, a pitch and bat body with no head, and a few boxes of parts. In my eyes it will likely end up being about $500 or $600 worth of parts but only time will tell. Seller is only about an hour east of me so I figure it is worth the drive to take a look anyway. Plus I need to get out of the house for a change!

I talked to this seller this past week and he is firm on price. With the one machine being a Keeney, one machine missing the backglass, and all four titles lower end machines it was way out of a "logical" price range in my eyes. To me $800 to $900 would be a more logical number for the lot (and that is actually pushing it to the max). Maybe it will be worth more to someone but that someone will not be me.

My friend operated a Bally Black Belt fresh out of the box...The game only lasted
a day... it caught on fire. Bally's first attempt at multiplexing flashers with solenoids.
He returned the game and got his money back. So if one came across this game
with melted plastic pieces all over the place.... yea.
Note: Karate Fight, German made by Bally subsidy.

OP:Year after year..."that'll be a fun project" and yet here we are. So it's time for this pinball machine to find a new home. Its one of 3450 made and this model was seen often on "That 70s Show". It is not functional and the price reflects that. Dimensions are about 52" long x 24" wide x 69.5 tall. Weight is....hefty ‍♂️? This could be a great project, or maybe spare parts, or repurpose it into something else awesome. Its fate lies in your hands. Pickup only near Kipling and Bowles. Will not deliver.

TNT did a video on this pin. To watch Todd explain it, the pin looks like a fairly decent rule set that would take some time to learn. That could explain the low review ratings.

If I had any room, I would be tempted to check it out. I have no idea what is would be worth. Or even if it could be made working again, economically.

Didnt you picked up a stars from an estate sale a while back?

I'm selling two Gorgar projects, both with above average playfields and cabinets, for 1800 for the pair. One is missing the MPU/CPU combo boards (but has an extra sound board). Other is complete with serviced boards. Both have very clean plastics. I'd love to work on them but I'm running out of space and have other projects in the wings. PM me if interested.

I think I've seen two for sale in the northeast in the last couple months for around $1400-$1500. They either took a while to sell, or one might actually still be available. $2900 is way outside the usual price for one.

disassembled Blackout in a box, looks like everything is there, disassembled playfield without inserts and crusty (but structurally sound) head...great boardset though, rebuilt power supply, button battery and new pins at the 40 pin connector....standard crazed backglass with flaking in the red.

Was going to re-start this project and a different opportunity came up. What's a fair price?
