Manufacturer: Gottlieb
Game/Type: Jack In The Box / EM 4 Player
Month/Year: February 1973
Production: 8,300
Cost: $600 OBO
Location: Severn, MD
Seller: Duke Smith

OP: A very fun and challenging target oriented pinball machine. Minus one issue it works as it should; the target bank should be taken apart and cleaned as every so often one of the targets will get stuck half down. It resets when the ball hits it again or when the ball drains. Backglass is a little rough but still there. $600 obo

Don't know what to think of this one. If the Beat Time is complete, doesn't show in the pics, might be worth looking into.

Cost: $1100
Location: Piketon (Chillicothe/Cincinnati), OH
Contact/Link: chillicothe.craigslist.org link

Condition: "No longer able to work on my pinball machines and other game machine. Got a 100.00s of dollars of new parts for pinball machines and bowlers,
Also included are 2 Detroit red pin shuffle contact bowlers. One is still setup but hasn't been played in couple years, might need little help, other Detroit red pin is good but still disassembled from when I bought them both, went through all scores and relubed, just didn't have enough room to put 2 together. Got new spare pins. Also have 3 pinball machines, one needs some wood work, when I bought it it was sitting on coin end and has some wood rot but everything is there.
1 Williams BEAT TIME, 1, Bally Knock out, 1, Gotlieb SUPER SCORE pin ball machines. Was going to restore all of them. Some more work than other, but I am permanently in this wheelchair now and just can't do it. So selling all as one deal. Other Detroit shuffle bowler sold at 1000 just by itself when cleaned up. Both of the other shuffle contact bowlers worked before taken apart. Probably need cleaning. Have some schmatics. Just all my stuff goes. Look at pictures to see all the new parts, contacts, bulbs, bulb holders, more and more new parts, just look pics, and that is not all, there is another box of parts no pic yet."

The Omaha "Salsa" Mata-Hari just dropped 50% in price today, now down to 300.

That actually puts it into prime restoration territory now, ready for hard-top, new backglass, and a stencil set.

The cabinet paint actually looks really well done, but why TF "Salsa"? Does it come with a Mexican sombrero topper?

You would need plastics too, as it look like he just has clear plastics cut out.

Quoted from bluespin:

@pecos You know you want this and it’s not that far from you. You can fit another project in your garage.

I had somehow missed then and when I did see it, didn't mention this:

DSCF4521 (resized).JPG

DSCF4527 (resized).JPG

Most of us don't have garages or basements in Tucson. I can always cram in another Project Pin, but it's getting to the point that even I want to move some pins out of Pecos' Palatial Pinball Parlour.

Quoted from dc2010:

I honestly think @pecos. Should get that

That's awfully nice of you to say dc2010. I am looking to buy some newer pins and this is a cheap way to buy a Williams System 9. Reno is only 879 miles away from me, 14 hours one way!

Quoted from pinostalgia:

You don't need a lot of money up front. The playfield and backglass are passable. No more money needed there. At least one of the plastics is broken and some may be missing, so you would need a new set, if they are available. I would be concerned that all of the parts were there considering some of the playfield was disassembled. Working on the ramps would concern me a bit. The board work is to be expected for a game at this price, but they seem to be all there. Overall, a great bang for the buck price for what you are getting. Caveat, I will buy Project Pins in any condition. You may not be as willing as I am to take on Project Pins from the Island of Misfit Pins.

Sometimes they will pre-sell. You have to read the company's policy. If its not listed- and im interested- I politely email and ask them is they'll do a presale on the machine. It's hit or miss.....

Not that it matters because of the condition, but that is a Yukon Special. For those who don't know, it is an add-a-ball with 2" flippers and the center pop removed. The better of the two versions IMO.

Back in early September bluespin posted a craiglist ad for a Bobby Orr in Dunedin, FL. I ended up getting it for $100 less than the asking and after a series of ridiculous events I finally got it to my house in Corpus Christi, TX. It will eventually go to my Mom at her new place in The Villages. After my Dad passed almost a decade ago my Mom came to visit with me and the wife at TPF. She found she loved playing pinball and has been attending ever since. Last year she finally sold the house in Phoenix and moved to the villages to be closer to family. After hinting she'd love a pin for a housewarming gift I went on a search for a "reasonably" priced Bobby Orr Power Play. (She's a huge hockey fan. Like the kind that buys season tickets.) They seem to be hard to come by. Thanks for posting this. It will be a winter project for sure but I can get it into shape for a spring debut. Pictures are already up in the hacks thread.

Manufacturer: Bally
Game/Type: Bobby Orr's Power Play / SS
Month/Year: February 1977
Production: 13,750
Cost: $500 OBO
Location: Tampa, FL
Link/Contact: tampa.craigslist.org link

OP: Selling a Bobby Orr Power Play pinball machine. This machine needs work, I bought it to fix up but ended up favoring another machine instead. Maybe someone else would enjoy it.

I do NOT know if the machine works. I have never plugged it in. I was told the boards were new but I have no way of knowing. Playfield is in great shape, just dirty. Some minor plastics damage, machine will likely need some servicing and rubber. Cabinet has some water damage to the front, but everything seems solid still. I took the plunger off because it was stuck, probably have it if you still want it but I'd recommend new. I do not have keys but the machine is not locked. Backglass is decent, some minor touch ups by a previous owner and some very slight flaking, mostly just dusty. I do have the playfield glass.

Please excuse the pics, don't have much room. Would recommend help to move it. Other machines NOT for sale. If you need more pics or want something specific, send a text to show contact info - please no calls! Questions answered to the best of my ability. Asking $500.

Me: If it really does have new boards, the board set is worth the $500 asking.
