Gutted 'King Tut' cab and head.
Just the cabinetry, but looks to be a low numbers title, and in decent condition at at.
If it was a higher production game, and lower price, I might have gone for it for a homebrew concept I'm toying with.
But looks too nice and rare for me to do that.

Hans,
Lessons on how to get buried in a pinball machine:
=================================
The gutted cab lives in Merrill Iowa. You could leave your home and pick up the gutted Tut cab which looks to be in good condition. From Merrill you head east southeast to Peoria Illinois. Pick up the Tut that is still together. Get home and choose the best of the two cabs to put together then sell the weaker of the two cabs for someone else's project.
For you: 530 miles one way. Gas. Motel for one night. Highway food--or fill your cooler with sandwiches.
Sometimes I get itchy for a road trip. I just want to get on the road with no particular place to go. Just to get away from the old lady and the bill collectors
I don't know if I would do this for a King Tut (but it sure is pretty), but I have road tripped way farther than 500 miles and picked a cabinet and then drove another 90 miles farther and picked up a populated play field and put the two together. OTOH, if I lived in your town, chasing a deal like this would be tempting.
The pin has been up for 9 days. I doubt the seller is fielding very many phone calls on this pin. He might get "offer friendly" real quick.

The cab has been up for 3 days. I doubt a visual pinball person would be willing to pay $200.00 for a cabinet that he has to make a road trip for. This seller might get "offer friendly", too.

Make on offer on the pin. If you can get the pin locked down then make an offer on the gutted cab. If you are lucky, you could get the cab on the same trip. At worst, you come home with the full machine and no gutted cab. But the gutted cab is only 90 miles from you so if you made an offer and it was accepted, you could leave home and be back in 4-5 hours.
You would be saving a rare pin. And it sure is pretty.
