I was thinking that as well, but I'd expect the outside of the pin to start showing effects before the inside and from what I can tell from the so-so pictures, the coin door, rails, and lock bar look to be ok. I wonder if, like other estate sales I've been to, they have a bunch of items stuffed into one location or two locations of the house in order to keep people corralled away from other parts of the house, i.e. that semi-precarious spot between the wet bar and hot tub by the pool wasn't the actual location of the pin when the owner was using it.

OP: Sharpshooter pinball machine made by Game Plan project. I purchased this as a working machine but I’ve have never hooked it up because it had a battery on the board and I have purchased a new battery board to replace it but haven’t installed it. Back glass is in great shape and play field is in good shape except one wear spot that is pictured, just needs a good cleaning. It’s just more of a project then I have time for. Please message if interested.

This is an EM machine and was working when I got it earlier this year haven't had much time to play with it or do much work on it. IT isn't playing at the moment but if you are good with this sort of thing or have the time to go through and clean the contacts it will make a great playable project. I have some parts for it mainly relays that I know needed replaced.
Here is some info on the machine as well.

A smart guy like you would be able to figure out EMs in no time. Buy a cheap one (you missed out!) and start tinkering and learning! The nice thing about EMs is that everything is right in front of your eyes.
Argosy is a pretty fun, interesting layout. I had one for many years. The artwork and theme are so bland though. That backglass looked to be in far better shape than most. The red sail is usually toasted.
I keep watching this topic and I have gotten a few machines doing that but today I got to thinking in might make sense for me to reach out to other Pinsiders here also. If you live close to Central PA or are headed to the York Pinball Show in a couple weeks I am always in the market for "junk" pinball machines. Stuff too far gone to save -- blown out playfields, machines that sat outside or in a barn, heads without bodies, bodies without heads, etc.
Basically looking for "cheap" parts machines if anyone wants to clean house. Also stuff like populated playfields, boxes of parts, etc.
What do I consider "cheap" - rough woodrails $100 (or less) if local, EM's $150 to $250 depending on title and how complete, etc.
I have plenty of parts machines right now but I never mind adding more. So if you have stuff sitting just talking up space you would like to see gone feel free to drop me a PM & we can talk.
Atari Middle Earth - $700 (Denver area)
denver.craigslist.org link
OP: Bought this at the beginning of summer with the intent to do a full restoration. Ended up working more than expected and ran out of summer. Need my garage back so it's up for sale again. I did redo the legs and repaired the back glass so now all the lights work. Everything else works as it should just needs cosmetic care. My intent was to redo all the cabinet and re-stencil. It's a solid cabinet with zero water damage. it's a perfect candidate for restore and a rarer pin as Atari only dabbled in that arena a short time. $700 Call or Text

Decent deal if someone is looking for an earlier Gottlieb multi player machine but no backglass on the one and bad backglass on the other kind of kills the value on them. I would think something in the $350 to $400 range would be better for what they are but to each his own!

Yeah, I kinda wondered about that too. I have no room or time to even consider this game but figured you guys might have a better insight on what was being offered.

It is a two-fer!!
Quoted from poppapin:It is a two-fer!!
Nothing times nothing is still nothing. Unless someone is looking for this title $500 for two of them is pushing the price point in my opinion. Someone might see it differently but no backglass kind of kills the value and when someone says paint flaking on a backglass and doesn't show a picture of that backglass you might as well assume no backglass.
1979 Williams Stellar Wars - $850 (Denver area)
fortcollins.craigslist.org link
OP: I am selling my 1979 Stellar Wars Pinball Machine by Williams. This is an early Steve Richie designed game and his first with Williams. The game has had only 2 owners and is in average shape. It is a wide body machine and is extremely heavy. Backglass is in good condition for its age. Please read entire post for more information.
I picked up this machine from the original owner and planned on shopping but need to make space. It has been upgraded with new LED's, new rubbers, a RottenDog MPU board, new flipper buttons, new key and lock, and has been deep cleaned and waxed, including retouched playfield artwork. Retouching was done using quality acrilics and is completely removable, if original condition is desired. Game is in working condition with exceptions listed below.
The few issues are still being worked on include a switch matrix issue, player 4 display degassing (intermittently working after warmup), and a power issue that resets the game when both flippers are pressed at the same time. Finally, the lower playfield "bonus x" inserts are non-original and need decals. I have not tested the coin mechanism.
I will be willing to let this machine go for $850 if game is accepted as-is. This in mind, I am currently working to make this game fully working and will then be firm on $1000.

If anyone else deals with him he said he has more arcade games but is incredibly flippant and seems to not give a shit about talking at all.
