OP: Hulk. Playfield is amazing, backglass and cabinet are great. This game has see humidity and has some rust under the playfield. This game has no boards. Pickup in 21701, cash only.
OP: Gold Rush. Pickup in 21701, cash only.
OP: Masquerade. Decent. Haven’t turned it on. Pick up in 21701, cash only.
Seller dropped the price of the Hulk to $575
Quoted from bluespin:Seller dropped the price of the Hulk to $575
Sounds like a good deal. The playfield looks pretty good, which is the main thing. Usually, there's a lot of wear around the bonus inserts. Missing boards aren't really an issue for system 1 games since a lot of times they are replaced anyway. No white dots on the displays, so the glass is probably good on all of them.
If I was local, I'd be sorely tempted on that one.

Sorry, couldn't resist. Bought two of them early in the hobby. Couldn't wait to get them sold.
Cool art and sounds, just didn't come together. Poor Bally. The wheels were really coming off in 1982... but, oh, what a ride it was.
Edit: (should I delete this? thinking I should... don't mean to dog on someone's game for sale here...)
Yes please delete... Some people enjoy vector.

Sounds like a problem with the 5v power supply to the MPU causing a low voltage watchdog reset. Lots of stuff out there on that, but if anyone is interested in that machine you could *likely* slap one of the $30-$40 WPC Power Fix Daughterboard from rkahr into that thing and it'd at least be fully playable while you take the time to figure out what to repair long term.
.....but I'd still try to talk the guy down a couple hundred first

I have a "lead" if you will... I just had Rixzilla pick up some projects for me from a lead that was posted here earlier, the F-14 playfield...
Well Rick just picked up the games and the terrible pictures they provided showed gorgeous playfields with nearly no wear.
Except upon closer inspection Meteor has EXTENSIVE termite damage The entire playfield, body and head is ruined...
The Blackout body and playfield has beginning signs of termite damage too...
What devastating news

The woman still has quite a few arcade project machines and a few pins and some parts available. I saw bally coindoors, some transformers and an EM playfield. Be warned of the termite issue. Maybe you can salvage something from this but who knows. Best of luck Pinsiders!

PLEASE READ: The woman listing these ads apparently has never even stepped foot on this property. To my understanding it is her father's estate. There is a lawyer currently living on the property managing the estate and handles all the calls, answers questions and so forth, she is the one who gets paid. There are 4 outbuildings that are extremely dirty, grimy and just nasty. Apparently the Meteor was loaded with cockroaches, termites and mice... These folks don't seem to know much anything about pinball and are asking high prices. But I was able to negotiate deals. Message me for the direct contact information if you'd like to give this a chance.

"maybe underneath"?
Quoted from gdonovan:"maybe underneath"?
Yes, sometimes you can remove what's been painted over top and return the cabinet to its original state. Why some people decide to cover a cabinet with paint like that, I have no idea.
Probably the same type of people who insist on painting antiques green or whatever.

I was referring to the very vague statement "maybe" they don't know so why even mention it. Its just someone trying to build in a positive sales point where little exists.
Like stating "maybe needs a fuse," could just as well need a whole wiring harness.
Been my experience 25% of cabinets still have the original paint lurking under the repaint and my luck so far has been zero getting the repaint off without destroying the original paint. God bless people who pull it off, like winning the lottery.

I've seen some people post good results on paint removal. Unfortunately, the three cabs I've attempted haven't been too successful in that the paint was very difficult & time consuming to remove. I probably won't go after any more games with painted cabinets since I've found them to be such a pain to work with.

I spend 5-10 minutes trying and if poor results, strip the whole thing down. I'll take one of my repaints any day of the week, especially since I can do proper webbing now.
