Quoted from maxrpm:

I grabbed the Police Force. Boards looked clean, no battery damage. Game will clean up nicely. Had to drill the front lock and the back box key was inside Missing speaker and badge on topper Receipt from local game store came with the manual. No date on the receipt, but the house was owned by the same person since 1997 and was being sold in conjunction with the estate sale. I suspect it was in the home for 20 years? Paid 1K. Thanks to my friends for help getting the machine up those PITA stairs.[quoted image][quoted image][quoted image][quoted image][quoted image]

Great score. I have a buddy looking for this game, and I have been helping him look with no success. These have become tough to find.

#12902 4 years ago

Those are good friends helping on THOSE stairs!

Nice grab!

Wow I think that's a great pick up for $1K....were they asking more? I would have been all over that at that price-good thing you got there on the first day! Congrats! And those stairs....good friends always come in handy!

Chicago Coin Hollywood

A Chicago Coin em? Stored outside in the elements? No backglass? Most em collectors don’t like Chicago Coin pins. Maybe $50

$50.00? That's all. No back glass? A source of parts sounds reasonable. Or a coffee table. Sorry I could not resist.

I like CC and $50 as described would be a stretch. More like free.

#12912 4 years ago

I think it's probably a decent playing game. It has the passing kickout holes which is kind of neat. If you could find a cheap used backglass and enjoy fixing them up it may be a worthwhile project. Better than a Star Explorer or Demolition Derby for sure.

I was second in line on the first day. At estate sales, you have to pay what they are asking on the first day, or leave a bid and wait until it is over if is has not sold and they will call you if you are the winning bid.

I got my first 2 pins from an estate sale (EK ss & BW100), so im familiar with how they roll.....

So in your opinion did they undervalue it?

I guess its a good thing I have a M-F job, or i'd be broke with 100 pins at home.....lol

Actually, I think it is priced too high.

Offer 100 bucks and a Popeyes biscuit.

In all seriousness, however...how long of a drive would that be for you?

Never should have sold the first one with CPR pf. How I'll find another now, or even plastics as everything has dried up. It's full of mold and I paid more than was listed, but it won't be leaving (if I can abate these damn mold spores

Posted on Mr. Pinball today:

Millionaire and Bally Lost World, 1988 Williams: $1000
I am actually selling a Bally Lost World and a Williams Millionaire for $1000. Lost World is complete, but the CPU is locked (no flashes) and the backglass is terrible. Millionaire is complete, but adjustment error message.

Located in Byron, Georgia.

ME: Wish I was closer, this is a great deal. Millionaire adjustment failures are common due to the flaky switches on the roulette wheel.

Minneapolis craigslist had an actual cheap project for once.
Bally 8-ball project.

Needs backglass and apparently the only boards present are the displays.
Playfield doesn't look too bad actually, but does need some touchups for sure.
It is cheap at $150. I'd probably grab it if, if it was closer.
