LMAO. Looked at this listing. Description says “wood trim starting to deteriorate” = termites. Reserve price is $ 4000. Good luck with that.

Reserve has been lowered to $3200! They even state the pin is "unable to be plugged in" to confirm it works. Let the floodgate of offers start to pour in!

Quoted from gdonovan:

Don't tempt me, I like hard luck cases. I'm twisted like that.
Will be finishing Melody shortly and I have to get back on Hearts and Spades, playfield clear coat should be hard enough at this point to start mounting hardware.

Let the playfield cure a little longer. Go grab that coffee table monstrosity and convert it back to a pin!

Just can't. Two, maybe three other pins in the queue with a car waiting for an engine install.

OP: 1976 Chicago Coin Sound Stage Pinball Machine.
This is a project that I picked up a few months ago that was in a garage for the last 5 years. I have stripped the playfield and cleaned and waxed it with Mothers Gold Carnauba wax. Each piece has been individually cleaned and polished. The plastics are in great shape. All new rubbers, new ball, new lock. The back glass is flaking. The cabinet does have nicks and scratches and the score reels and contacts need cleaning. I have not had the time to go through it all. The game will power on and coin up. When you hit the start button a couple of switches stick. If you unstick those it will play and score.

Pick up in Charles Town,W.V. about 1 hour from Washington,D.C.

OP: Anyone interested in a project? I’ve got a nice Breakshot, needs finished shopping and put back together. Over $200 of new parts for it to install, everything you need to get it 100%, it boots up fine, waiting on the up down post to get back from the plating company. Just rather move along and save the time if anyone is interested in a good machine for a decent price. Would want $1100 as it sits.

Someone converted the head to a coffee table, but they have the complete machine. Someone please pick this up and change it back to a pinball machine.

One more for the good guys...soon the world will have one more pinball machine and one less coffee table...

Game seems pretty nice...the guy is a vid guy, but this game was the first ever arcade piece he bought in the late 90s - he said it worked for a couple years, but by the time it went down he was really getting into the vids(I know, right??). Anyways...he was a real nice guy...the table legs are easily removable - just bolted to the back door, and the game is complete. No manual or other paper, and the wrong, ridiculously lengthed leg bolts - which I left with the seller are the only negatives really...cabinet is nice and so is the PF.

Thanks again Bluespin!!

I’m glad you saved it. If it wasn’t a 4+ hour ride away I would have grabbed it. I kept debating because I didn’t want to see it get trashed. What does the PF look like?

PF is fairly nice...typical kickout hole wear that the owner touched up in an OK way = not horrible. The center bonus lights area is really nice. The glass is filthy and I didn't pull it apart to take a good look...but a nice surprise overall.

For me it was less than an hour, so a no-brainer...the seller was very motivated as they are trying to escape the Southern Tier(the land that time forgot), and make a break for Arizona...it was a nice pickup all around.

Looks like it was stored outside on a covered porch if the photos are any indication, he did not even bother taking the tarp used to cover it out of the photo. Check out the Ms Pac-Man machine photo in the listing, at least wipe off the machine before taking the photo.

There’s rust in the ball launch handle. This was definitely stored outside or in a non-climate controlled room. Cabinet decals are faded, but I’ve seen worse. If it was shopped, playing 100%, with cabinet fade, NO large fish insert wear, I’d say $3000 tops. Same conditions but no cabinet face $3500.

It’s not worth anywhere near $4,000.

Projects for sale, as is, come and check them out at my shop, no pics at this time. Some work to a degree some are dead. I dont have time to go through them at this point. Most prices are under pinside. Gottlieb's all came from a collection, those dont need much. I do have pics of Volcano, mars god of war and 3 million bc.

High speed $1100 does not work
Mars God of war, works to some degree $1000
Volcano $800 works to some degree
Lectranamo. Boots up. Does not coin up or star game.$900
Checkpoint boots, playfield wear. $1600
Secret service, did not turn on when picked up. $1200
Freddy Krueger. Not sure on boot up, think it did, has playfield wear down between flippers. $1700
Big hurt, boots and plays, missing speaker plastic, needs 1 tip replaced. Could use a new ribbon cable $1800
4 million BC , did not work, lady said it worked then game died.$900

OP: Strikes and Spares that needs a little more love. I'm looking to move a few projects to make some space. This is first on the list.

This is a solid game that will make someone a good addition to their collection. The cabinet is solid without a lot of scratches or dings, the colors are still bright. The playfield is in good shape, I haven't cleaned it yet so it should polish up pretty nicely. The back glass has seen better days, but is still mostly there.

This comes with a brand new Alltek MPU, a new rectifier board, a chime rebuild kit and a rubber kit. This is ready for someone to get up and running pretty quick. Over $300.00 in new parts included.
