Manufacturer: Stern

Cost: $750

OP: It was working flawlessly when I purchased it, but after setting it back up there have been some issues with lights and displays. I'm moving and don't have the space for it. A new set of rubbers is included. One of the plastics could use replacing, and there is no coin mechanism. Here's an example of one of the issues that cropped up:
the last time I powered it on, most or all of the playfield lights were dark. The lock bar is included.

Hopefully a pinsider grabs that one... I think its a classic

OP: PROJECT PIN. Game needs a ton of work. Would need to rebuild the head. Only thing missing that I know of is the backglass. I have plugged it in and the game tries to start but that’s about the extent of the troubleshooting I have done. Was planning to fix and rebuild but just don’t have the time. PM me if interested.

He had it up on Facebook marketplace for a day. No boards, lots of corrosion. I offered some cash to grab some of the mounting hardware, but he wasn't interested.

Rob I say go for it! Your wife won’t kill you for bringing home one more pin...but if she does I call dibs on Mata Hari

#12224 4 years ago

This guy puts up better pics on a freebie than many put up for a pin they want big bucks for.

#12225 4 years ago

Wish VA was closer, a free project is still free

#12227 4 years ago

I passed only because I live 100 miles away and my project pile is at a peak; parts alone deem it worth while.

Last week I actually threw around the idea of getting this car (washingtondc.craigslist.org link) as a beater pin hauler. That idea wasn't warmly received, but it would be good for things like this - putting that slick chick "mousery" in my wife's SUV would be a non-starter. Agree with cottonm4 - great set of pics for a free game!

I say somebody coming up 95 should pick it up on their way to Allentown.

Looks like an Auto Race woodrail, not Road Race

I haven’t done any woodwork in a long time, what kind of stain should I use?

Quoted from bluespin:

I don't know. I would have to research it. Perhaps an antique type paint job would be the way to go. Depends on if you want it to match the rest of your furniture. If the rest of your furniture amounts to a house full of pins, and not much more, then I would say you have lots of options.
