OP: Old Chicago project.
Does not play. Needs complete resto. Lights up. That’s as far as I got with it. I don’t have the time and it needs to go.
Backglass is very nice. Playfield is rough and someone very poorly repainted the cabinet.
$450 no trades.
Located one mile from downtown Johnstown.
Thanks.

Now listed here on Pinside for $400

The backglass on this machine is shattered and patched together by tape (I saw the picture). He also says it was never plugged in, which likely means it doesn't light up at all.

It's not that bad. Only 545 produced. Some minor cabinet blemishes. Coin door looks real nice. My play field restore guy could make that play field look like new.

If I were into EMs this is one I would like to have.

I don't know about good parts on that one. I have salvaged parts from lots of nasty machines - many looking worse than that - but without it having a playfied glass to protect things I don't know how much you will be able to salvage from this one.

Still worth a drive for someone local but I wouldn't expect to salvage a lot from it.

Yeah... no chance that is being shipped. eBay member with 0 feedback.. most likely a newbie to eBay.. will back out of the deal when he notices that the shipping paid was only $16. No loss on his part if he tosses the ebay account since it's got no feedback to begin with.

PITCH AND BAT GAME

Manufacturer: Williams
Game/Type: Fast Pitch / Pitch and Bat 2 player
Month/Year: 1969
Production: ????
Cost: $500
Location: Deer Park, NY
Seller: Glen Annarumma
Contact/Link: https://www.facebook.com/groups/299213816922644/permalink/1147540088756675/?sale_post_id=1147540088756675&rt=11

OP: This 1969 Williams Fast Ball is a nice game with animated back board. The backglass is lifting a little but can be triple coated to stop it from coming off. The playfield is in great shape. A word to the wise, I bought this game with the intentions of putting it into my collection. I did not see the game in person until after I paid for it. I didn't realize that its 33 inches wide so it will not fit where I planned for it to go. it's a big game so make sure you have at least 35 inches to put it. I also have the schematics forit.

Production: 1,492
Cost: $500
Location: Canfield, OH
Pinsider: Skypilot
Contact/Link: https://pinside.com/pinball/forum/topic/monday-night-football-project-parts

OP: Project or parts machine I’m guessing parts unless you’re extremely enthusiastic. Game came in a group of other games. Water damage to the cabinet. Best offer to get this thing out of my garage.

#11684 5 years ago

Manufacturer: Williams

Cost: $425
Location: Deer Park, NY
Seller: John Lego
Link/Contact: https://www.facebook.com/glen.annarumma/posts/10211734958323960

OP: One of 30 machines produced. it has a perfect backglass. The playfeild needs to be touched up but the plastics are perfect. it will need to be gone through. But it's a great game for someone who want to be one of 30 people to own this. I hate to let it go but I need the room for other projects.

Anyone care to give their thoughts about a project Wms. World Cup that’s missing all the boards? I have a chance at this for $250.

Not worth it. Game only brings in 3 or 400 working

I know I have never had much luck selling that title at any price. Machine is worth $250 in parts so seller is not asking a crazy price for it or anything. Sadly it just isn't a title that is worth putting time & money into. That is likely why the boards were pulled & used in another machine.

#11688 5 years ago

Skip - Thanks for the advice - I guess even parting it out I would be lucky to break even. I think I will pass on it.

Its really not a bad game though. Not the best game, but still fun.

I think the issue with a lot of these less popular machines is the art package. I never could bring myself to keep machines like Raven, Hard Body, Spring Break, World Cup, etc in the collection because the art just didn't do anything for me. I actually really enjoy playing most of them but you have to be looking at the art to play them so I do understand the lack of love.

I'm an EM guy. Just curious what a board set cost for something like this?

#11693 5 years ago
Quoted from AlexF:

I'm an EM guy. Just curious what a board set cost for something like this?

A set of Alltek's for Bally/Stern early solid states (MPU, SDB, Lamp board) will run you about $435 if bought as a set directly from Alltek (over $500 if bought individually).

#11694 5 years ago

Not sure if it needs anything else and I understand it wouldn't be most people's first choice. With that said there isn't much in my area for $685 these days. Not sure what thread it was but people were recently talking about how dry the Chicago area has become for affordable pins.

If it's a fairly fun pin and you enjoy the work I don't see why not?

According to the ad, it has already been sold.

#11699 5 years ago
Quoted from bluespin:

You’re welcome. When I first heard about the original sale on Facebook I was excited. I knew about a Warehouse raid that few people knew about, and I was planning a trip to Florida. Then then Florida collectors started talking about Wayne’s House if Termites as they call it. I was still interested in buying coin doors, boards, playfields, etc. A group of collectors bought 95% of all of the parts before the open house and I quickly lost all interest

I have pictures that I took while I was there from back in like 1997 or something. I'll try and post them when I get a chance.
