OP: Take your pick. 4 classic system 80 widebodies. $1500 each or all for $5000. All of the games boot but each will need some TLC to be playable with exception of Genie which plays great and has a new Ni-Wumpf board and Titan silicone rubbers.

Pity, I'd drop $5000 for the four titles.

I'm not on FB nor interested at the moment to drive to Ohio and back from the land of taxation (Connecticut)

Shame as I'm looking for a few mostly simple SS titles.

$350 Houdini. Seems legit.

I think this is a scam where they say they "just sold it" - but you too can get a great deal on a new pinball machine from... scammybiddingsite.com

Quoted from Colsond3:

I talked to him twice, and he has indicated that nobody has offered him more than 400. With how rare this game is, I’m surprised it has sat there as well. I don’t mind doing a full resto on a second one, given that I’m so familiar with the game now.

Well, shit, man, who would want to offer anything with a play field glass clogged up with anything he did have room for on the floor? All he says is that it is vintage with out any mention of rarity. It looks like a trash heap. Is there even a play filed in there? His pics are worth about 10 words.

He should get his finger out if his ...ah..ear and learn some marketing 101.

But I hope you get it if you want it.

#10907 5 years ago

He’s already sent me about 10 other pictures with the game cleared off.

Darn it! I’ve made someone in this thread happy. All these hours that I’ve put to frustrate people into making people say things like “ugh I’ve been looking for this pin for two years but this one is just too far away” have backfired on me. Now I’ve made someone happy.

I’ll have to rethink my entire strategy. Maybe I need to start posting every “Chinese” pin (aka Japanese pachinko), kids pinball toy, antique 30s bagatelle table top game, etc.

Just kidding Colson. Enjoy the pin

Fully working BH sell for $2500-3000. Fully working HH sell for $2200-2500. Playfield condition, boards and the inner backglass of BH are key. The inner backglasses are usually heavily flaked. Shay Arcade Group will ge making this glass soon but figure it will cost $300. Boards are problematic, but good guides have been written on how to fix them, or buy a pascal replacement.

I got lucky and bought a working BH for $900 a few months ago. The inner backglass is heavily flaking, and it needs a grounding kit, and some basic repairs, but was still a bargain in today’s market.

I know prices have changed over the years but I can't imagine paying that for a Black Hole or a Haunted House. I've owned Black Hole twice. I like the game. I've never owned a Haunted House. I know it's not relavant because it's from the past but I paid $500 for my Black Hole in 2011. I just can't believe that this game is now 5 to 6 times more expensive than it was 7 years ago. Ok, ok, I know, I'm the old-man in the group but man, Black Hole, as great as it is, is not a $3,000 game.

I wouldn’t pay $3000 either, but some people are paying that. A really nice example in California sold for $2800. I can’t remember if it was Pinside or Facebook.

When I first got into the hobby about 10 or 11 years ago both Black Hole and Haunted House were typically selling for between $1000 and $1500. Then 5 or 6 years ago prices on those machines seemed to drop off a good bit for some reason and all of a sudden Black Hole was a $1000 machine at best with Haunted House slightly higher at the time. Now I see both Black Hole and Haunted House bringing in excess of $2000 on a regular bases.

In my eyes - looking at current pinball prices for some of the classic machines - $2000 to $2500 is about spot on where either of these two titles should be if they are working and in good overall condition. I don't see either as a $3000 machine but I also think they are better than a $1500 machine with today's pinball market.

With all of that said I would have a hard time paying in excess of $1500 for either in non working condition regardless of how nice they were cosmetically.

OP: 1984 space shuttle pinball machine. Comes with NOS plastics. And original docs. See pics. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. There is something wrong with the crystal I think. I bought it 20 years ago thinking I would restore it. Life happens and I never had the time. Lots of play field wear. Back glass is in great condition. I'm moving so make all offers. I need this gone !

OP: Deep cleaning and replaced some fuses, rubbers and bulbs. Everything works and plays as it should. Definitely shows its age as you can see in pic.

Cab is and 8/10
Backglass has some lifting but could be sealed to be a 9/10
Playfield probably a 6/10 I cleaned and waxed

Williams #flash - clean boards, boots, somewhat plays. BG has flaking in the reds. Drop targets need some work. New rubber on the pf. $600 obo.

Gottlieb #jet-spin - nice pf, decent bg with some flaking. Head will need a repaint - I had to cannibalize a Jungle Queen as the Jet Spin head was a complete loss.. $400 obo
