Location: Chicago, IL
Link/Contact: https://www.facebook.com/coinopwarehouse/posts/10156717929932375

OP: Williams OXO pinball, decent backglass and playfield, not working. Price is $300, picked up from my daughter Amanda in Chicago. I bought it right but no use shipping it back to Maryland as then I would have to price it a lot higher.

Quoted from bluespin:

Only posting 10,526 was a pin located in GA. I live in GA and post projects that I find from around the country. Are you saying that I should only post projects that are in my state?

No Sir, that's not what I was asking. I'm only utilizing sarcasm and jealousy. Please continue

You’re thinking of Pennsylvania

Pinball is plentiful in PA, NJ and NY. Georgia does have its fair share, though.

Hello Project Pinsters! It's been crazy here at Pecos' Palatial Pinball Parlour. I picked up the third Williams horsie pin and a classic Bally multi-ball pin from my Scottsdale Project Pin Guy!

https://pinside.com/pinball/forum/topic/what-machine-did-you-bring-home-today-post-your-pictures/page/198#post-4601224

It's been even crazier at Pecos Pinball. I have a second client!

https://pinside.com/pinball/forum/topic/a-pecos-diary-my-journey-to-pinball-operator/page/4#post-4602458

It hasn't been all fun and games though.

Offer him 2K and find out. You would shit if he said "yes".

Quoted from Colsond3:

Maybe he is a contractor hired to tear a house down and this old pin was just sitting there. It has happened before.

Quoted from Captive_Ball:

Sure he will claim HOU on the fridge

Ask yourself what is different about this old pin in this ad. I'll answer it for you: The seller had the moxie to clean and shine the glass before he took his pics. On most of these old barn find pins we are lucky if the seller even touched the dusty glass before they put up their CL pics.

I won't say his pics are the best but at least you can see the play field is not completely roached and you get a halfway decent look at the back glass. Compare these pics to some where the best you get is a pic of the back glass taken from 30 feet away and there is either so much dust or glare on the play field glass you can see nothing.

I'm betting this guy knows he has something that is quite rare. But he does not know what it is worth so he is going to start high priced. And then see what kind of offers he gets. And I'm betting that he is going to be getting some offers on this. And he can always come down on the price.

Start at 1500 maybe. Start at 3K? He needs to bring it down to about $700, if that, in that condition.

And a barn find, maybe. No evidence at this point. Could very well be somebody’s shed or garage.

I don't disagree. There have been several Gottlieb wedge heads stuck on CL for weeks around here. They are all in the $700.00 range and they are not moving at those prices.

It could be a shed. A barn. A lean-to on the back of the house. It has not been living a life of luxury. I can hardly blame him for starting with the outsized price when I see all of the idiot prices fools throw on their pins because of what they see on Ebay.

I'm not at all interested in this pin. He can price it where ever he wants. But there are a couple of rare pins I would like to have and if I saw an ad like this for one of those rare pins I would be calling the guy and see if we could work up a serious price.

This guy is the opposite of a sale I stumbled into on Oklahoma CL several months ago. A kid put up a very rare pin for sale for $300.00. It was a rare EM version of a popular SS pin. I sent him a CL email and told him what he had and that his price was way too low. He changed his price and got an offer of $1,000.00 and took it. I thought he could have gotten more but he had bills to pay and took the offer. So, I cost somebody $700.00 more than they would have had to pay if I had not come around. And I helped a guy out and kept him from getting fleeced.

That kind of shark action is not going to happen to the guy with this rare pin.

If it's been stored with that fridge, then there will definitely be some rusty parts to clean up.......unless monkeys flung poo on the fridge.

Location: Fishers, IN
Seller: Jeff Duncan

OP: Flash Gordon Pinball in really good shape. Just had a new main board put in. New left flipper solenoid and all new rubber. All lights work and everything functions as it should. Strobe works. There is a little wear on the playing surface and the cabinet has the typical faded paint with a few scuffs here and there which is reflected in the price. Still looks great.
Comes with a few spare parts, the original main board, manual and 2 carts to wheel it around on.
I have had this machine since the mid 90s but it is time to let someone else enjoy it.
With a repainted cabinet and touched up playing surface they go for $2k plus

Cost: $675

OP: Selling a Bally Silverball Mania Pinball Machine. I have to many projects so I am thinning it out. The machine works as you see, but will need shopped out and probably other repairs. Board had some acid damage at one point and someone neutralized the corrosion. I put in new ic sockets and chips on the board at u7-u8-u9-u10-u11-u12. I also have the corrosion repair kit if you wish to install the parts. Cabinet is in decent condition, the back glass I would say is a 8 out of 10 at least. The playfield does have wear and there are no broken plastics. The displays are nice and bright. If you are looking for a Silverball Mania pin project then here it is. Asking $675

Just make a fake Facebook for joining pinball groups if you’re not interested in using the site for anything else. The marketplace is extremely valuable as you find some really great deals from people who are ready to throw the machine out! The pinball groups usually accept your join request in a few minutes. I’m in tons of them

This has dropped from 1100 in the past few weeks. The guy dropped the head and broke the backglass. It's not tempered so it's still in the head but badly cracked.

You don't see these anywhere and it has a heat wave style backbox animation.

Cab looks pretty beat.
