Seller: Kimberlynn Blackstock Milam

OP: I have an Airport pinball machine that was produced by Gottlieb, D. & Co. in 1969.
I am curious what the value is?
The main score board has issues it doesn’t keep correct score.

Me: She was asking people for an evaluation of this pin. The valuations given were $250-300. Sounds like she is interested in selling it but hasn't posted a for sale ad

COFFEE TABLE ALERT

Manufacturer: Bally
Game/Type: Supersonic /SS
Year: October 1979
Production: 10,340
Cost: $450
Location: Walton, KY
Seller: Rob Schmidt
Link/Contact: https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/319489328593038/

OP: This is a pinball machine that has been modified into a coffee table. The machine has battery operated led lights that allow for 9 different settings. The pinball back box has been setup with less as well and comes with the hardware to mount to a wall.

Me: At least he picked a non-restorable playfield. Usually these coffee tables have nice playfields that could be used to improve/restore another game. The bad news is that his guests have to look at this heavily worn playfield every time they come over.

OP: Not My Pin. My aunt’s friend owns it. It is located on Long Island, NY (Northport, near Huntington). I have a few photos of it. No idea if it works and it requires hauling up a flight of stairs from a basement. Does appear to be nice cosmetically, so far as I can see. The seller is not a pinhead. He probably doesn’t want to deal with hassles. The first $1000 takes it.

Game/Type: / EM: Spirit of 76 / EM 4-Player
Manufacturer:
Year:
Cost: $300
Location: Glens Falls, NY
Link/Contact: glensfalls.craigslist.org link

OP: Selling a pair of Gottlieb Spirit of 76 pinballs. Both need mechanically gone through and both revived or make one nice one from the two machines. Both need new backglasses, one backglass was hand painted by someone at some point so it's presentable but not correct art. They are both mechanically complete. Some inserts are incorrect, both playfields are in nice condition and will clean up nicely. No back door to both head units, one missing lockdown bar, and one is missing the thin piece of wood bottom on main cabinet. Both cabinets artwork is in nice condition. Have other projects and can't get to these two for a while so selling to free up some space. Happy so send more pictures. The price is for the Pair.

I would be all over these if I could fit both in my car. I even have a mint backglass hanging on the wall, lol.

We're also assuming that the wiring harness is intact and complete. If you like the title, the backglass is really nice and you can find some cheap displays you would be in it for ~$1,000, but it would have new boards.

Pinsiders racingpin, ibuypinballs or too-many-pins might have some working displays.

Someone was responding to a WTB in one of these Facebook groups for working Gottlieb system one displays. They were purchased for $25 each plus shipping. That would only be $150 plus S&H.

Talk to me about this "drop it at a Fastenal store". I have checked with two local Fastenal stores about shipping a pin. Both stores store tell me I have to do everything---including supplying the pallet. I called the national number for clarity on this pallet business. Corporate parroted what the two stores said, "you have to furnish the pallet". That ain't gonna fking happen.

You can usually find a pallet or ten outside grocery stores like Kroger, around the back where the semis deliver. Buy a $10 pack of the neon orange ratchet straps at Harbor Freight...maybe a roll of shrinkwrap and cardboard or whatever your padding items of choice are when shipping. When you have it all packed and strapped to the pallet, take it to the back door at the Fastenal store. Knock on the back door, give them the password, and they'll take your pallet and ship it.
