OP: 1979 Gottlieb Genie Pinball Machine Arcade Vintage System One

In good working condition. The sound recently stopped working, could be a bad ground or speaker. Top right kick out hole was bypassed by previous owner. New rubber and the transistor needed to get that hole working again is included. Left side trim piece has corrosion see photos. Could be cleaned up with a fine grit sand paper.

All rubbers were recently replaced. Currently setup for free slot play. ...

The backglass on this one is in rough shape but the playfield looks nice. This is a great game at a nice price for anyone who likes this era or Ted Zale zipper flipper games. A more complex ruleset for the time and backbox animation too....

Be careful on that Cosmos...someone painted over the cabinet. The color scheme is supposed to be black and blue on the white cabinet, not green and orange.

OP: FS - Bally ATLANTIS Pinball (South Houston) - $700
Friendswood, TX
Finally pulled this out of storage where it has been since Harvey. It was stored on it's back with the head folded (normal pinball storing position) when it received about 12" of water. It has not been cleaned and appears the boards did NOT get hit by water. When I plugged it in it fired right up. How cool is that. I took the glass off and random tested switches and solenoids and it seems to be working fine. Cabinet has some delaminating along the back of the cab and lower head.
If you want a project that will make a nice "players" pin or need a bunch of sought after parts give me a shout and you can come look under the hood.
I can send more pics through email or text.
Priced at parts value of $700....can't beat that!

So he thinks Jungle Lord and Xenon are EM’s and require batteries, but also offers info on what repairs they would need? Interesting. I wonder how much wear they have on the playfields.

John, if I pick you up do you want to take a ride?

At these prices, isn't he taking himself for a ride?

I'll dispatch one of my followers (who lives in Chicago) to check these out. Have you been to visit our friend with the four storage units in PA lately?

#9526 5 years ago

I sent a message about Xenon - If true, I'll be there Monday AM with cash.

Add: This sounds like something too good to be true. Someone with that many machines should have a better idea of what each machine is worth. John - If your contacts see/hear something, please share. Thanks

I’d imagine those games will go quickly at those prices. Going to Skip’s most likely next weekend. Just talked to him earlier. I’ll scope it out for you. LOL.

Colson is suppose to come out and "visit" one of these days when he picks up the Dracula I have been holding for him since the Allentown Show. As I tell everyone interested in talking pinball, looking at or buying machines, selling machines, etc "if you are headed past and I am around I am always happy to hang out with other pinball guys that have some time".

I'll be listing a dozen or so "project" machines and finished machines in the marketplace over the next couple weeks (unless they sell first). I might also be interested in selling off a few dozen "parts machines" if anyone is interested in a storage unit (or two) full of parts machines. Most of the "parts machines" are woodrails or EM's too far gone to restore. Tons of great parts but I'll never have time to get everything listed so I might just sell some machines off to save some rent money if anyone is interested. Not much (if any) Gottlieb stuff in the mix as far as parts machines go. Mostly Williams, Exhibit, Genco, United, etc. - bodies without heads, heads without bodies, semi complete machines with no backglasses, etc.

#9529 5 years ago

Xenon follow up - Seller returned contact, said he has lots of potential buyers, and will send me pics of inside back box and closer playfield pics tomorrow. I may be taking a trip tomorrow afternoon, but then again, . . . lots of buyers.

Manufacturer: Gottlieb
Game/Type: Target Alpha / EM 4 Player
Month/Year: November 1976
Production: 7,285
Cost: $300 OBO
Location: Buffalo, NY
Link/Contact: buffalo.craigslist.org link

OP: Target Alpha is a four-player electro-mechanical pinball machine manufactured by Gottlieb in 1976. Gameplay mimics Gottlieb's classic one-player wedgehead El Dorado. The game features, four flippers, 2 pop bumpers and fifteen drop targets, including a massive row of ten that runs across the top of the playfield.

The playfield is in nice shape after being cleaned and a new rubber ring kit installed. There are a couple plastics missing and two missing flippers but they can be tracked down through various sources. It is also missing the lockdown bar in the front as well as the back door to the head. Other than that, it appears to be complete, however, it's currently not working, therefore it is being sold as a repair project in as is condition.

Also included free of charge is an extra set of cabinet legs, bulbs, switches, original manual/schematic, apron cards, etc. (see photo for details)

It is currently located in my garage, so no issues around moving/loading.

Please reply with your phone number if you would like to schedule a time to look at it.
I am asking $300 or best offer.

Cost: $500
Location: San Luis Obispo, CA

Manufacturer: Gottlieb
Game/Type: Spin-a-Card / EM 1 Player
Month/Year: January 1969
Production: 2,650
Cost: $450
Location: Durham, NH
Link/Contact: nh.craigslist.org link

OP: This is a card-game pinball machine. The rules are simple to understand and the game is very player friendly. Having the two kick out holes toss the ball back into the pop bumper area is fun and the ball stays up in the pop bumper area longer than most wedgehead games. The spin action on the backglass is also very cool.

The brother game to Spin-A-Card is Hearts and Spades which is also a fantastic card-game player. Games like this one made Gottlieb the leader in the pinball industry.

The playfield is almost perfect on this game, the backglass has a small amount of flaking but an easy touch-up in my opinion. The game plays but needs a good tune-up and a rubber kit. If you are new to the pinball hobby, there are dozens of instructional videos on the web to guide you through game tune-ups, troubleshooting and just about everything else.

The photos I posted are off the web. I will try to shoot some pictures of the actual machine tomorrow.
