Quoted from TopMoose:

Well, this absolutely breaks my heart. of the hundreds of games I played at ReplayFX two summers ago, Fairy was the one that charmed me the most and I absolutely fell in love with it. One finally comes up for sale and it's on the other side of the continent. Bummer. I hope a Pinsider grabs it and gives it the love it deserves.

Quoted from bluespin:

It sounds like the seller isn’t motivated by money, but wants it to go to someone that will enjoy it.

Quoted from ZNET:

It is unlikely that another will surface for sale anytime soon.

Dude, for real. C'mon, TopMoose, bring it to the Midwest.

Navl will probably charge $500. It sounds like the seller isn’t motivated by money, but wants it to go to someone that will enjoy it. Call the seller, tell him what you told us about Replayfx, and ask if he can come down to $300 so that you can have Navl pick it up. Then it costs you $800 for a rare pin.

Quoted from ZNET:

STI/Beltmann/NAVL (i.e. Michelle Bianchi) would likely cost closer to $400, ground floor to ground floor) from CA to Ohio. At $900 total, including shipping, the purchase of that Fairy is certainly within the value range for that title in good condition. It is unlikely that another will surface for sale anytime soon.

PAPA owns one. A Pinsider on the east coast owns one. One for sale in L.A. That's a count 3. No production numbers. It looks super clean. Not perfect but super clean. I do not see any back glass flaking. Play field has one hickey at the tip of the left flipper.

You should follow the advise of the others and go for this. It has to be worth $500.00. Assuming it would cost you $900.00 the worst that could happen is that you could be in it for $400.00 too much if you had to sell. Do you think it would give you $400.00 of play time value if you owned it?

It sounds like the widow's husband died many years ago and she is finally to the point she can let it go.

If "Fairy was the one that charmed me the most and I absolutely fell in love with it. " I would not think twice about pulling the trigger.

Manufacturer: Chicago Coin
Game/Type: Hollywood / EM 2 Player
Month/Year: February 1976
Production: ?
Cost: $300 OBO
Location: Callahan, FL (NW of Jacksonville)
Seller: Julie Jones Hoblit (Facebook)

OP via Messenger: "Pinball machine works stick some time and stays on ball 1 but has all original wire and info in side. 300 or best offer"

I found mention of a pinball machine buried in an old garage sale listing and verified she still has it. Looks like it doesn't have an original lockdown bar. I'm not interested in this theme, so I told her I'd pass the info along to you folks! If you have trouble getting in touch with her via PM, let me know, as I already have an open PM conversation going with her -- I can pass along a heads-up or send her your contact info.

From what I was told by other CC collectors a non working CC machine is worth $100.00 to $200.00. With that lockdown bar I would say more on the $100.00 side. They do command a lower price too.

#8855 5 years ago

Looks like the backglass is flaking badly at the bottom. No lockdown, that's a $50 game at best.

#8856 5 years ago

CactusJack I agree on the BG but it does have that old fashioned (stick-wood) lockdown. Most of the CC I see are in good condition for the age to the other manufacturers for the year. I guess they were not played as much as the more popular pins of that era.

By the way I also see more sellers trying to push the value on these pins. Which is so wrong IMO.

Four pinball games, $2,000 each or $6,800 for all four. The first two look like a great deal, if fully working.
Black Rose
Funhouse
Pool Sharks
Maverick

Four pinball machines, $2000 each or all four for $6800: Black Rose, Fun House, Pool Sharks and Maverick. Ad will be updated as machines sell, so if you see machines listed, they are still available.

Did someone in West MI get a great deal, or was this a scam? It came down pretty quickly...

Actually, they probably were played just about as much. When the Bowling alley got Blue Max (Red Baron), we played the sh!t out of it when it was new. They just might not have had any staying power. I am pretty sure they were sold for less than any G, B, or W title of the same time (and built a lot cheaper too). But mechanically, they got beat to hell. I have worked on some of them over the years and they are just garbage in that early 70's era. The older 60's titles were actually a world of difference. They resembled a Gottlieb machine inside and held up well. They just don't have much going for them in either the feature or art department.

Hollywood was probably one of their best earners. And therefore, they pop up a lot but are usually badly weathered. The problem is, even if you find a nice example, you will be hard pressed to sell it for anything over $250. Just ask Tom Raider. Just before he went to move and "thin the herd" he put a few CC titles up on CL. His price just kept dropping and dropping and I don't know if he was ever able to actually sell any of them.

Am I the only one thinking that the cabinet was stripped to reduce weight? Those eye bolts aren't holding the weight of a full machine, even if some was distributed to the back. But hey, those shoes look nice...and dusty.

Quoted from SkyKing2301:

Figures, something finally comes up in my town and it's a cocktail.

The ad for the Night Moves is misleading, the non-collector owner said it NEVER WORKED and was bought as a project.
Implication was boards had damage, expect to spend $500 on all new repro boards.

Both Black Knight and Pinbot have been removed from Craigslist. Did anyone here get them? I'm bummed I missed a BK in my "back yard". Then again I was two hours into it when I saw the ads.

Seller: Lindy Carter Meadows

Also...

...I would assume the same. It appears they stripped the head and tossed a lone bulb in the back of it.

Yeesh! This one's gonna be a tough sell. ...at least the glass is decent?

Alright, back to more important matters:

OP: For sale is a Gottlieb Circus pinball machine. It is being listed AS-IS, because it has modifications to the boards which were done at some point that have since failed. The playfield is in very nice shape. No broken plastics and very little wear on the playfield (See pics, the playfield is nice). The cabinet looks to have been damaged and repaired. The machine is structurally sound, but the repair job was poor and I am not sure how it will last. The lockdown bar assembly will disengage, but I can’t remove the lockdown bar because of the repair job to the cab. The backglass has some flaking, but it appears to have been sealed. See pics of boards for condition. Legs are present.

Asking $650, make me a reasonable offer. Located in Alpharetta, GA. Feel free to shoot me a message with any questions

Manufacturer: Williams
Game/Type: Flash / SS
Year: January 1979
Production: 19,505
Cost: $550 Buy It Now
Location: Jackson, MI

OP: This pinball is a project. It works just no sound. The pinball will boot up and kick a ball out. The game will play as stated but still needs work. It needs a good cleaning, new rubber, lights changed. The playfield is very dirty. The playfield itself is in good shape for its age. The backglass has some flaking. There is rust around the coin door and under the lock down bar. There is rust also at the top of the playfield where these is metal. It can be a good pinball with a little work and elbow grease. As stated there is NO SOUND and we believe its on the sound board underneath the playfield.

Keep in mind this is a project. This pinball WILL NEED CLEANING!!! It needs a lot of work.

NO SHIPPING UNLESS YOU MAKE ALL THE ARRANGEMENTS.

Hmm, seller calls it a Jumping Jack but the pics are of a Jack in the Box.

Great game either way; 2 player or 4 player
