Quoted from ForceFlow:

The wiring in the backbox is all hacked up on that one. Ugh. It doesn't look like you'll be able to separate the head, since someone used wire nuts in place of the connectors.
Also, it looks like the line-em-up board and display (an early version of the game over ball match) aren't present in the home models.

meh. Get a couple molex plugs.

No line-em-up on a free-play game. No spot for it on the backglass even. No credit board. No credit display. I wonder if there are any differences in other boards?

Interesting contraption for sure.

Interesting contraption for sure.

It looks like the other boards carry the same model numbers, but there's no telling if components are missing/swapped without close-ups.

Sorting through the wiring on that game and figuring out which wires go where is a bit of a nightmare on this game--the cabinet wiring schematics aren't terrific. I'm trying to sort through the wires on my game to track down a fuse that keeps blowing.

yeah there is....

Where's the neck?

btw check the note... not really a "home model".. says they made 2 or 3 for VIP party favors. How cool is that.

Hah, didn't even notice that---the neck *is* missing.

What a cool lookin' game. I've never seen one come up before but have admired from IPDB. The photos from the seller aren't the best but the art package is great (uncharacteristically proportionate people from Christian Marche with really daring colors), a bagatelle in the backbox, and a playfield that looks fun too. Say it with me...

Hah, didn't even notice that---the neck *is* missing.

I have owned three Allied Leisure's with blank coin doors over the past 5 years or so and two of those had no "necks" so someone is wrong about "no home models" or they made a lot more of these than stated for parties.

I always just flipped the ones I ended up with because I had no interest in them but as you would expect not being on location they all looked pretty much like new. Cheaply made but not all that uncommon for them to be in nice cosmetic condition from my experience. Every time I got one in a "bulk purchase" deal I thought to myself "not again" but someone always wanted them and I think I actually sold my last one at the Allentown Pinball Show last year.

I stared at it on ipdb for a while, do you have any idea what the rules are? I couldn't make any sense of it from looking at the playfield....

Looks like the wear areas around the flipper buttons have been painted black. Still looks decent, BIG bargain if it really works 100%

What a cool lookin' game.

Quoted from zacaj:

I've never played it before, but I just took a gander, too. This image is pretty helpful:

http://www.ipdb.org/showpic.pl?id=460&picno=47014&zoom=1

Not only are the playfield instructions very clear, but more importantly, so is the instruction card. Looks like the backbox bagatelle is triggered by a drain. Essentially, a randomized end-of-ball bonus. Kinda neat. There's also extra ball opportunities and replay/special opportunities.

I still want it!

Whenever a craigslist ad says a game looks perfect/mint or plays 100%, it's usually best to assume the exact opposite.

I saw an ad a few months back where a seller was claiming "plays 100%", but the flippers were completely missing from the playfield....

I didn't bother contacting the seller about that one. If I recall, it had a rediculous over-inflated price tag.

Saw these listed today in Peru, Massachusetts, which is miles from anywhere. But I know I've seen some interest in shuffle bowlers here, and there's also an older pin as well.

Lots of times when sell puts "best offer" they wait for weeks trying to get more then a machine is worth once they get a couple decent offers on it. I would be willing to bet if you offered $500 cash you still wouldn't hear back from them. Don't let the $50 price fool you!

Welcome NicoVolta! I think too-many-pins is right. The $50 price listed is 'buyer bait.' The games people play!

I have only had that happen to me a couple of times. It makes me so mad. I usually just tell the seller to forget it. List games for auction on eBay.

I have NEVER seen one if these in person. The rotating player-to-player movement is really something to behold.

Can't believe a couple appeared in a storage unit buy. ...the things you find for us, Pecos.

Speaking of Pecos and his project finds, he recently started a resto thread on an awfully rare EM find:

I thought some of you might be interested in following his progress.
