Month/Year: February 1995
Cost: Best Offer

Also the foam cushions behind stand ups are worn out and need replacement."

Ha Ha. Pecos, you have been punked. Ad failed to list that it has only had 600 plays in the last 12 years.

Manufacturer: Williams
Game/Type: Big Deal / EM 4 Player
Month/Year: May 1977
Production: 7,301
Cost: Opening Bid: $300 Auction ends Thursday 5/3
Location: Oak Brook, Illinois
Contact/Link: ebay.com link » 1977 Williams Big Deal Pinball Machine

OP: This machine is fully working but sold as is, with no guarantee it will be working when you set it up at your place.
The play field is in good shape and the back glass is also, with minimal typical flaking.
Flippers work well and the game has good action. The drop targets all work as do the scoring reels.
I put new glass on it when I got it and also invested in new legs X 4. I think it really makes it pop with those simple upgrades. I also put on orange flipper rings which look cool. The sound chimes are also cool on this game.
A fun game especially if you like drop targets and also a great theme that I have owned for about 11 years. I am moving so I wrapped it up and shrink-wrapped it but have since decided to auction it off. So to repeat, the game is wrapped up and ready to ship. It is not set up to be playable at this time.
This game is PICKUP only in Oak Brook Illinois. REPEAT: Pickup ONLY in Oak Brook Illinois.

Manufacturer: Gottlieb
Game/Type: Star Race / SS Widebody 4 Player
Month/Year: October 1980
Production: 870 (!)
Cost: $700
Location: Little Rock, AR
Link/Contact: littlerock.craigslist.org link

OP: All four flippers, bumpers, sound, &kickback hole work perfectly, it is a fast action game. The problem is, sometimes when you turn it on, the score lights don't light up, and you can't play. When they light up you can play, there is a loose connection, or maybe a fuse out, somewhere. It needs some minor work. All the glass and cabinet are in great condition.

Crazy how a game I've never seen in 30 years of collecting suddenly starts coming out of the woodwork within the last year.

Saw one for sale locally last summer - should have bought it
Played one at Expo last fall
A couple of Pinsiders have picked one up in recent months
Keith Holbrook is restoring one from his personal collection
And now this one...

#8263 1 year ago

...and we’ll have one for sale soon too!

#8264 1 year ago

There was a $1500 T2 on Little Rock CL yesterday afternoon. Only two pics but pf looked perfect. I texted the guy within the first hour but he already had a buyer. Ya gotta be fast.

#8265 1 year ago

Thanks pinhead306 for posting that link to The Atarians. That is the first one that I have seen for sale - and I have seen a LOT of pins for sale.

That sure brings back memories. I played The Atarians when it first came out. It was a game changer.

In order to get a steal on Craigslist you have to be in the first couple of minutes.

Jeeez what a fiasco. Now he has it at OBO as he isn’t getting anything. Glad I picked mine up local and met a new friend in the process!

No worries glad to finally contribute to the thread. Always one of my favorite threads.

Quoted from ThatOneDude:

Give him $20, haul it off. Strip everything out of the cabinet(the coin door, lockdown bar, etc, all look good), pull the playfield and hardware in the cab and then crunch the cab up for firewood. If the metal bits under the playfield are anywhere near as nice as the coin door, then you will likely make a profit(or have something nice to trade at the next swap meet).

Hey thanks! After reading your post I mapped out how far it is. It would take me an hour and a half to get there and the same to get back.

So I am going to pass, but if anyone else is interested, GO FOR IT!

#8270 1 year ago
Quoted from northvibe:

I’m out of country until Friday. I’ll be checking in with the seller Saturday and see if it is still available. I hope it is, really excited for a machine to use a hardtop on and do a nice restore

I see it's listed as sold, were you able to grab it or was it someone else?

~~~~~Mr. Pinball Classifieds~~~~~
Manufacturer: Williams
Game/Type: Doozie / EM 1 Player
Month/Year: August 1968
Production: 2,150
Cost: $200
Location: Harrisburg, Pennsylvania
OP: This game has the cool 60s "mod" artwork of the era plus the unique "zipper flippers" that close the gap between the flippers so your ball can't drain. Backglass and playfield are 9+, but the left flipper has a short that needs to be fixed. I don't work on my games anymore so I can't fix it. That's why the price is so low. High res pics online. If you are coming to the Allentown show I am about an hour away and you could easily pick this up on your way to or from the show. Drop me an email to discuss.
Manufacturer: Gottlieb
Game/Type: Genie / SS 4 Player
Month/Year: November 1979
Production: 6,800
Cost: $750
Location: Rochester, NY (Will be bringing to Pinfest show this week in Allentown PA)
Pinsider: doverpros
Link/Contact: https://pinside.com/pinball/market/classifieds/ad/63545
OP: Located in Rochester NY, and heading to the Allentown show this weekend. 1979 Gottlieb Genie pinball machine. Restored, and in great working condition when put away, however, w/out use, the rubbers have dried and cracked - they will need to be replaced. Cabinet is faded, and dinged, but the playfield is in really good shape. Original boards with off-board battery holder. Backglass is in good condition too, but has flaking - especially the reds. Plastics are all great, overall: cabinet - 6; backglass - 7; playfield - 8.
Manufacturer: Gottlieb
Game/Type: Charlies Angels / SS System 1, 4 Player
Cost: $500
Pinsider: doverpros
Location: Scituate, Ma (heading to Pinfest this weekend)
Contact/Link: https://pinside.com/pinball/market/classifieds/ad/63526
OP: Heading to Allentown, or pickup in MA. 1978 Gottlieb Sinbad pinball machine. Single ball, four flippers, solid-state, non-restored, and could use it. Cabinet is a 5; fading, some chips: Backglass - 8, some flaking; Playfield - 7.8; some wear spots. Game is missing electronics, it will need a CPU, driver board, and driver harness, but is otherwise complete. PS is untested. Plastics have some chips from them, and are really dirty, some chips from the ball guides. Two of the drop targets are the wrong color.
Manufacturer: Gottlieb
Game/Type: Devil's Dare / SS 4 Player
Month/Year: August 1982
Production: 3,832
Cost: Starting bid: $300 Auction ends Uesday 5/8
Location: Olney, Maryland
Link/Contact: ebay.com link » Gottlieb Devil S Dare Pinball Machine Project With Spares
OP: This is a Gottlieb Devil’s Dare pinball machine, it is in above average condition, the backglass is flawless, the playfield has minimal wear. I got it from an auction 20 years ago. It ran fine then but I ran out of space and it has been in storage the last 15 years in the warm and dry the corner of my basement. This is a complete pinball you can play all day except for a small issue, the score displays are not working.
The good news is as these machines are rare I ran across someone who had a machine but only wanted the backglass. I wanted some spare parts, so he sent me a full board set, power supply, playfield, etc. So, plenty of spares to hopefully getting it running again quickly.
LOCAL PICKUP ONLY:
I will go over the machine with you and assist with loading it up.
