~~~~~Mr. Pinball Classifieds~~~~~
WISH I WAS CLOSER Would love to have that working Jungle Princess
Manufacturer: Bally
Game/Type: Wizard / EM 4 Player
Month/Year: September 1974
Production: 10,005
Manufacturer: Gottlieb
Game/Type: Jungle Princess / EM 2 Player
Month/Year: August 1977
Production: 1,600
Location: South Bend, Indiana
Price for both is $1100
OP: I want to clear my house of pinball machines since they're not getting used. Thus, if you decide to buy Wizard, you must also take (at no charge) my Gottlieb "Jungle Princess" game. Both games are in very good condition and both work perfectly. I will not negotiate on the price, but if you pick them both up in south bend, in, I will discount the price by $100.
Game: Torpedo Alley
Manufacturer: Data East
Type: 4-Player SS
Cost: $900
Location: Smithfield, RI
Link/Contact: providence.craigslist.org link
OP: Machine is not working. Read specfics below. If you are familiar with working on pins then this is an easy fix and for you! If not you are not, you are welcome to buy it but I am not giving a deal because how much you "think" it will coat you to have it fixed.
***Starting a new business(not pinball related) and sadly I have sold 3 of my machines in a month. Was going to finish this one and sell for top dollar but ran out of time. I need some space in my house. That is why I have not completed the remaining repairs. If I get them done soon I will re-list at top dollar**
You will have a rare machine with plenty of ramps and action. They made 1,000 of this machine. Playfield is in good to very good condition and the cabinet and backglass are as well. New flippers, rubbers, bulbs, pop bumber plastics and drop target decals. Plastics are in great condition except one of the caves which has been repaired.
1. Someone put a hole in the speakers that is why they have been removed. Needs new speakers. Harness and all wiring is there.
2. The main board had battery leak way back. The battery holder is new and board was cleaned up very nice. 3 Chip holders need replacing-THE 15cent HOLDER not the chips-I have the chips. System 11 board..easy parts easy fix.
I am not moving much if at all on the price. Cost plus parts put into it I am not making anything. Do not email me with a ridiculous offer. I have more pics and will gladly answer any questions...I am quick with emails...Thanks!
Question is do you plug it in before you buy it and maybe start a fire or not? That old wood would go up pretty fast.
Cost: "Looking to trade but feel free to make offer"
Listing: "1976 space odyssey pinball machine. Needs work. Lights up. Willing to trade up. No lowball offers. "
Original listing only included photo in the back of the truck. I contacted seller to request shot of playfield, and received the other shot -- you can see lots of wear on the playfield, particularly around the kickers adjacent to the flippers.
How was the BG?
#8022 6 years ago
Quoted from Madmax541:
How was the BG?
You saw that bubbly back glass, too. I had a Playboy with the kind of bubbly. I have seen pics of several Bally's with that kind of bubbling.
#8023 6 years ago
Bally back-glass in a humid condition will do that.
I had it happened to one of my back-glasses many years ago when my mom
was doing the laundry and the garage was filled with steam from the dryer.
I did a service call to a Bally Star Trek and the guy had the game next to the washer and dryer.
He wanted to know how to stop the back-glass deterioration.
I told him it was to late to save the glass: the damage has already been done.
#8024 6 years ago
Is the game in that bad of shape, really? The playfield looked okay... in the pictures. :/
Looks like out was touched up by a small child and has been cleared with something. I'm going to fix the boards and put it on eBay as fully restored.
Nah really I'll probably play this til the wheels fall off. Maybe get a CPR if I like it enough.
Cool backglass, but Magnotron/Duotron exemplifies the “lanes, pops, middle thing, drains” layout everyone used to death.
Way too many games with that layout... ugh.
Nic, I hear that you will be relocating to Virginia. And you have a new job at the Roanoke Pinball Museum! Congratulations! You probably won't be leaving Rancho and the prototype Freedom behind, so, how will you be getting them to the northeast?
Manufacturer: Stern
Game/Type: Hot Hand / SS M-100, 4 Player
Month/Year: May 1979
Production: 4,117
Cost: $300
Location: Saint Paul, MN
Contact/Link: minneapolis.craigslist.org link
Condition: "I am selling a parts pinball machine, 1979 Stern Hot Hand.
This machine has seen better days, but contains a lot of salvageable and critical parts. The machine can be restored but I do not have the energy to do so at the moment. Please take it off my hands before I spend too much time dwelling on it.
Obvious Issues:
Power Transformer and Power Control board are toast. The power transformer started smoking. I'm sure a good rewinding would do the trick.
There is battery corrosion on the main board, but luckily it looks like the whole thing can be salvaged.
Prior to the smoking transformer, all the lights worked, even the display numbers. The big spinner was spinning and the targets responded.....like I said, the transformer went out.
Not pictured: Beautiful back glass and play field glass. The back glass has some minor paint chips but overall its gorgeous.
The whole machine needs a nice cleaning, it is dusty."
To be fair, the playfield graphics on the Harlem Globetrotters is pretty tough to touch up. Instead of solid colors its all that dot pattern stuff.
Type: 4-player SS
Cost: $350
Location: Austin, TX
Link/Contact: austin.craigslist.org link
OP: ***This machine needs some work. It powers on, but there are some issues on the main board. My son left the game on when we left the house, and it was on for a few days without me knowing. Something happened. Maybe you can figure it out.
That said, when it is working, this a super fun game. New rubber, score segments all light up, glass is in good shape. I have schematics, and some extra parts. If you know pinball machines, and are a techie who likes to tinker, this is the machine for you.
Plus, she's super sexy. Like Redheads? Two hot redheads, and some freaky vampire monsters, too. Plus there is inexplicably a random Michael Jackson on the glass. Hmm...
Serious buyers only please, and no low ball offers. This is a fairly rare game.
Anybody willing to grab this for me and help facilitate shipping or pick up? I can PayPal the funds. Working on getting another game picked up from Texas, so might as well make it worthwhile.
