Manufacturer: Bally
Game/Type: Rockmakers
Month/Year: August 1968
Production: 2420
Cost: $850.00
Location: Phoenix AZ
Contact/Link: phoenix.craigslist.org link
Selling my Rockmakers Pinball Machine. This is fully working and I have owned it for 4 years now. I have had it completely gone through and it is solid as Bally's are once you do a round of preventative maintenance on them. I got a new backglass in there so that looks great. Cabinet was painted over. Playfield is good. Low plays. This is not a reimported model, like the few other Rockmakers you might encounter. See pictures.
++++++++++++++++++++++++++
This one looks interesting. It is another Bally zipper flipper pin.

I would definitely jump on this if it were closer. The playfield and upper flipper are interesting enough to make up for, IMO, a pretty fugly backglass. At least VFW has one to play.

Quoted from VDrums2112:

The rubber under the lower pop bumper certainly makes the game less frustrating I'd imagine!

That's only a baby step away from playing with the glass off

Pecos, Google Earth says you are ONLY 116 miles from Phoenix. You should go and chase this one It looks like 4-lane Interstate Highway the entire distance.

Game: Skylab
Manufacturer: Williams
Type: EM 1 Player
Cost: $250
Location: Simsbury, CT
Link/Contact: hartford.craigslist.org link

OP: 1974 EM pinball Machine. Needs work. Stuck solonoid somewhere is blowing a fuse. You can see the flanking in the Backglass. Selling this for my sister. Don't have the time to fix it so first person with $275 cash takes it.

Not a bad deal for $275. A shame about the backglass.

Got some go-funny inserts to fix too.

I liked this game in my youth. So simple conceptually, but hard to complete.

Those inserts are floating in no gravity environment

This is a relist. I contacted the seller a few months back. He is pretty firm on price. It was more than I was willing to part with given backglass and unmotivated artwork.

Cab looks to be in good shape though.

Cab does look like it's in really good shape. Could probably snag it for 250 if you threw the cash at him.

Then again, it looks like the mylar is a little chewed up around the right flipper, or something is going on with the playfield. I like the Williams games that have those pop caps, like Stratoflite.

Ha ha! It feels more like 250 miles! I have taken that trip SO MANY TIMES. I get about half of my games from the Phoenix area.

Quoted from cottonm4:

I can't afford to even look at that! That Rockmakers has already been posted on Craigslist and at a lower price, I believe. I looked at it on IPDB and, except for the zipper flipper and upper flipper, it doesn't look that appealing to play. The lower playfield needs... exploding rocks, spinning dinosaurs, Neanderthals throwing spears... well, something!

Edit: Oh, I see that it has those cute tiny rollover buttons in the middle of the playfield. Well, that IS something!

As much as I hate auctions (they always waste so much time waiting all day for the few items you are interested in and then someone bids those items to insane prices so you don't end up getting them anyway) I might have to drive over to check this sale out. It is only about an hour from me and I would feel silly not going but I really wish I didn't know about it and then I wouldn't be wasting a day!

Knowing the area my expectations of buying are very low - Lloyd (coinopwarehouse) will have someone their for sure and I know a couple other local guys that will not let anything slip through cheap so before I drive over I already know I don't need to take the truck. But I am curious what parts and stuff are around and maybe one or two of the backglasses might help me save a machine or two. Who knows!

Saw this Big Game in person last week. Backglass had lots of missing red but the playfield was nearly perfect - some black trails but only one insert with wear. And very minimum wear at that. I called this afternoon to offer $300 but it was gone. Somebody got a nice playfield.

The Sharpshooter playfield looks almost as good but it too has a deteriorated backglass, lots of pinholes I could see even without lighting it up.
