Condition: "Selling as Nonworking. Backglass 100% perfect. Playfield looks great. It was stripped and all cleaned up with new rubber I just installed. All plastics are great , only a small crack in one. Machine Powers up, lights up, coins up, there are a lot of signs of life but this machine needs some attention. Flippers work, some rollovers work, some don't. Contacts need a good cleaning. Nothing is obviously burnt up. Everything is there for a full restore. This will be beautiful when completed, I just don't have the space or the time to get it done. Make me an offer, I need it gone ASAP."

Why never in Ohio ?? It is on the way to Boston...and then I would need a good divorce lawyer.

Ballypin You could probably ship that via Fastenal for $125. Find a Pinsider that lives near the seller that would be willing to pick it up and drop off at a Fastenal store during their business hours; M-F 7:30AM-5:00PM. If the Pinsider can't palletize and strap down the pin, Fastenal charges an extra $20.

I'm willing to help any Pinsider that needs something picked up in the Atlanta area and dropped at a Fastenal store.

Just one caveat--last I heard, shipments weren't insured. So if something happens, you may be SOL.

For those who are interested, my latest restoration, a 1971 Williams Klondike:

http://pecospinball.com/klondike_restoration.shtml

After two and a half years of restoring Project Pins, I finally feel qualified to mention my techniques for restoration. I have come up with a list of what I do, from start to finish, during a typical Project Pin restoration. This list, a Work In Process, is on my Website.

And, I am considering making a video of the entire process. I hope that my documentation will encourage others to take on their first restoration. These marvelous works of art and engineering genius are too important in the history of Americana to be lost to neglect and the landfill.

What would you guys offer for an unshopped victory?

#7027 6 years ago
Quoted from pinostalgia:

What would you guys offer for an unshopped victory?

I think the last one I owned I paid $350 for and drove about 4 hours (round trip) to get it. It had issues & playfield wear so I ended up selling it instead of fixing it and I think I sold it for $400 (talking about a $25 loss once I figured in fuel cost to pick it up).

Manufacturer: Gottlieb
Game/Type: Jungle Queen / EM 4 Player
Month/Year: July 1977
Production: 6,795
Cost: $600
Location: Dublin, GA
Link/Contact: augusta.craigslist.org link

OP: This is the last year mechanical Pinball machines were built. It has the old dials for the scoring, doorbell chimes for sound. In other words, it sounds like the classic pinball machine. After 1977 they are all digital & digital soundboard.

Manufactured by Gottlieb & Co, Northlake, Illinois 1977.

This thing is really, really Heavy! Being stout help with you to load it! I am so not kidding.
Works great, everything works as it should. The flippers & some of the lights didn't work when I got it. That has all been fixed.
This is a VERY good price for a working condition machine of this Era. Not much wiggle room on the price, I'm pretty firm on the 600, which is an absolute steal already.
I will not deliver it, I will not hold it, cash & carry, first come first served. If you want additional pics, I can text them to you.

OP: This is a working project. The playfiled is in poor shape and that's why I am calling it a project. I have a spare playfiled that is in better shape but it will still need some work before it is worthwhile to do a playfield swap. The game has new legs and I have new monkey drop targets ready to be installed. If you wanted to re-theme a pin, here is your chance.

$350 is way too low these days but I wouldnt have gone over $800 either. I would have preferred quite a bit less

Probably 3 years ago.

If someone offered me that machine today in nice shape fully shopped I think I would pass at $800. After playing one at one of the shows I didn't find it all that much fun and resale is tough on that era Gottlieb machines. In my eyes your money would be better spent on a Williams System 11 machine.

Condition: "Game is fully operational, cabinet in great shape. The only deficiency is that the right flipper sticks a little bit during game play (pressing the left flipper "unsticks" it), but that's something that could be easily repaired by someone if desired. We have played with it in the current state for the last few years with no issue."
