This pin has been on Craigslist for to months, and a nice working example will fetch up to $1,500. Someone should be able to get the price down to a more realistic $400-500. The main concern with this pin will be the condition of the backglass as bgresto doesn't have the art on file and this backglass rarely comes up for sale. Are there any Pinsiders from the Joplin/Springfield areas been out to see this pin? Any feedback on why this hasn't already sold?

Manufacturer: Bally
Game/Type: Fireball II / SS 4 Player
Month/Year: September 1980
Production: 2,300
Cost: $800
Location: Neosho, MO (Joplin)

The frame on the right side of the head looks loose.
OP: Manufactured June 1981. Only 2300 units total were made. Fine example of a survivor! Designed by Gary Gayton. Art by Dave Christensen. Model #1219-E. Game features 3 ball multi play. Back glass in exceptionally good condition. Cabinet is in vey good shape, minimal paint fade on the head. The head frame that holds the glad had been modified but can be repaired. Play field is an 8 out of 10 with minimal wear. Powers up, but only the head lights up. Will need some repairs to be fully functional. Previous owner disconnected several electrical functions due to a repeating error. More info found at www.ipdb.org. Located in Neosho MO

What's good price on it? I'm assuming a whole new cabinet and playfield will probably have to be made/acquired due to the severe termite damage. If I talked reasonably with that member what is a good price for it? DE Star Wars is a fun game and replacing the cab and playfield would workout since I'd want to do all the mods and upgrades, I could design a new cab with the upgrades in mind instead of retrofit the old one

$500-$750 maybe? It's going to be tough to source a playfield, though CPR might possibly make one in about 3-4 years if you want to wait that long.

I haven't seen a DESW under $3500 in a good while, but with termite damage in both the cab and the playfield, and no translite--there goes a lot of the game's value.

Don’t forget to mention the game doesn’t work. Sounds like it has some power supply issues and or mpu issues. It could be an easy fix or it could be a PIA. Just saying.

Well, the MPU is clean (no battery damage), and the power supply appears to have been serviced--but with only a brief description, there could be some switch issues, 5V issue, connector issues, and/or logic issues.

However, a clean MPU--even non/partially-working--is probably worth $150-$175 or so just because most have been hit and ruined by battery damage.

If anyone in the Dallas GA, area Needs a Black Hole back box? Maybe to repair a haunted house too?

I need this thing out of my way!!!!!

The outer glass looks good, no displays, some wiring, the inner back glass is flaking in the blue areas and in other spots, other than the blue windows it doesn't look bad from the front, and I think it's savable. The cabinet part has a few bumps and bruises, it's very savable and solid.

I had it on craigslist with hardly any interest.

I planned on making a lighted game room clock out of it. Using the center for the hands type clock and one of the display holes for a digital clock. or whatever.....I'll never get to that...

Trade me something? I'm running out of room and this thing is becoming a headache!!

I need parts for HS, DE Simpsons, F-14,...

Just thought I'd throw it on this thread for now...

OP: Very clean Volcano pinball, game starts up fine. 75% of the playfield works. flippers and pops do not. they did at one time but don't now. coils have been ohm'ed and they check out. All the scoring works. All the displays do work, just had a loose connection when I took the picture. The sound board works perfectly. I have a new Schwimmer MPU and Power Supply board. New driver board from Marco Specialties. Could be something small, But I am not sure. I could not for the life of me figure it out. does have the manual. all plastics are in good shape. playfield is in good shape. just the mechanics I could never get quite right. also the ground mod has been done too.
Basically if you can help me out, Great. I can compensate for your time and drive. otherwise I am willing to just sell it. system 80 got the best of me.

"I bought this really nice sports car, but I figured it would really be a conversation piece if I cut off all the doors and lifted it. It now serves neither its original purpose nor some utility purpose, it's really just a useless expensive project that you can look at and wince... I'm only looking for about double the original value due to my skilled craftsmanship, I think that's fair!"

A partial 1982 Bally Speakeasy pinball machine, repurposed to be used as a conversation piece coffee table; operational, but without backbox, ability to score or angle for proper ball movement. Cabinet sides are painted in a dark purple blue color with a “Speakeasy” graphic in red and white. The game table is colorfully decorated with casino graphics such as playing cards, poker chips, and dice. Lighting is activated by a toggle switch to the underside of the right corner at the play end.

And there's a bulb out in one of the roll thru lanes. I'm out.
