Playfield wear from 32 years! I cropped the photo; check the wear under the habitrail. I'm sure it's partially due to small bits sticking to the ball, which often comes down the lane with a lot of spin, which wears a channel out. I've had it happen before but this was the first picture I took of it.

Exactly. The metal is flimsy as hell and is lifting away from the playfield and jamming the ball. The tech put some glue on it last night so here's hoping it stays.

I had the exact thing happen but I couldn't get a picture in time for Godzilla to rotate, which dislodged it.
