That is so perfect that it split your post on 2 pages!
NICE.
Not pinball, but pitch and bat. Very frustrating nonetheless. This was yesterday on my 'new' Hi-Fly. At the time I took the photo's the game reset to zero already, but here's what happened.
I'm playing the 3rd (and last) inning with 2 outs on a particularly good game. I almost broke the high score. An 'Over the Fence' would have given me 50 points at this stage, which would have broken the previous high score. And then the ball got stuck. Here.
I figured (stupidly) the next ball would slam it loose, so I continued playing. The next ball was an out. DING! Game over.

Way back in 2005 at the TPF, a friend was playing a Data East Simpsons. Not sure where the ball got stuck. Friend started bumping the machine and ball would not come lose. I was standing behind him and after rough housing(hey he was a newbie) the owner of the machine(Hi Brad) came up and said 'What the F are you doing to my machine'. He simply replied, ball got stuck......Oh, removed the glass and freed the ball. To this day, I tell him, 'What the F are you doing to my machine'. Very funny,
Mine got stuck on a star roll over on meteor at 80k. A picture won't do it justice.
I tried to take advantage of the situation for a high score but my nudging got too enthusiastic and I tilted. I calculate it would have taken about 2,000 nudges to roll the game.

Ouch.... Wonder if martians feel the same as us humans.
Ball to psychiatrist: "So there I was, on top of the world, pondering two divergent paths in my future, when profound indecision paralyzed me in my tracks. I was headed toward 'A' road when I was suddenly overcome with the inexplicable urge to 'B' somebody, to take that proverbial road not taken."
Psychiatrist to ball: "You're joking, right? I can never tell with that poker face of yours."

HA, nice, I had the exact same indecisive ball on my JP this weekend! no pics though.

I would bet you a dozen doughnuts, that when that ball was finally moving it went towards the "A" Roll Over, then you tapped the left flipper a few times hoping the light would lane change.
Taken a few weeks ago while trying to backhand the lit 2K spinner on Harlem Globetrotters On Tour at high speed. I missed and the ball took a wicked bounce right up the middle - wow, that was loud.

Nice cradle there on Embryon (not Paragon)
Here's one of a recent temporary "stuck ball", until search kicked in on TWD. My son had this happen during multiball on his game and literally a couple hours later I had the same thing during one of my games. Assuming it must be a common sticky spot.
Quoted from djreddog:While playing at PAPA this year, the guy next to me had this happen on Jungle Queen. Tournament official ruled it as "not a stuck ball", so no removing the glass. He lost it trying to nudge it forward.
Flipper hop at its finest.
Quoted from GLSP3022:Probably not the strangest place, but definitely the strangest circumstance. A stink bug carcass is jamming the roll over wire . My PZ was full of these damn things when I got it.
Eeew!
Shot a ball off the right and left flipper during multiball and they both went into the magnetic hole at the same time, where they must have stuck together. The game went into ball search for a minute and then another ball shot into play. I shot the center ramp again and all three balls came spilling back down at me. First time that happened.
Quoted from Minneapolispin:'One In A Million' shot on Guns N Roses. The ball caught air off the G' ramp somehow and came to rest on top of the wire ramp.
Makes me happy I got the "Rev 3" wire ramp on my GnR
Quoted from yzfguy:Is that a newly designed bracket holding the bell?
Yes, it's for the acdc pro vault edition.
Quoted from spiralfry:Was playing Iron Man at ReplayFX on Sunday and shot a well timed ball into the Monger's crotch while he wanted to descend.
That's a big chip in the playfield....How many plays are on your machine?
