Hi,

I have recently bought a Williams Earthshaker where the whole shaker motor assembly is missing. Only the high power board is still there. Since it seems that it is not possible to buy such shaker motor assembly I was wondering if it would be possible to use a Stern shaker motor assembly instead?

Thanks for the thread. But is it fully comparable? This game didn't come with any shaker motor while ES did. I had hoped that I could connect my high power board directly to the Stern shaker motor assembly if they operate with the same voltage.

Yes but my problem is that I'm missing the whole assembly not just the motor itself.

Yes that's true but the other parts I need seems much trickier to get.

After some research I have found out that the Stern shaker motor operates on 12 volts DC while the Bally/Williams shaker motor operates on 25V DC. Input to the Stern shaker motor circuit board is 24 volts AC. Wouldn't it then be possible to connect the output 25 volts DC from the Earthshaker high power board to the Stern shaker motor circuit board which will then reduce the voltage to 12 volts to the motor? Anyone that could confirm my theory?
