On my T2, I get very little volume from the woofer in the cabinet. Is it possible to adjust this volume separate from the back box speakers?

I actually did get a Polk Audio 10" powered sub. I have it hooked to the T2 and my Police Force. Problem is the Police Force has much more bass than the T2, thus I'd like to turn up T2 to even it out.

Just found this site, where he talks about wiring the back box speakers in series to lower the volume. Wondering if this would work?
