    Quoted from BeaglePuss:

    Dates are fucking gross.
    Note: I’m assuming negatively towards dates in this thread is acceptable, but if not I will gladly accept a thread-eject.

    Perhaps bacon wrapped, blue cheese stuffed cherries instead? I've done those before and they were great.

    Then again, so are bacon wrapped dates....

    Bacon wrapped bacon is the way to go.

    Beside breakfast, the first interest I had of pork bellies as an investment came from Barbra.

    Bought some Pancetta tonight to make sandwiches. It was great. This is not my picture, but it looked exactly like it.

    Neuskes bacon is best. It’s avail in stores in wi, but you can order online and have it shipped. Well worth the extra cost. Wish they had a neuskes pinball that paid out bacon for high scores.

    If anybody here went to PAPA, this place is within long walking distance in Carnegie;

    With pork becoming the “in thing” this could become an opportunity....

    I've noticed some of the "I'm a pork belly millionaire" or (insert other thread) posters who say "I'm up $30,000 today" are to cheap to give $35 to pinside. Well not really the pork belly posters.

    Now go buy some bacon. Mmm bacon.

    I think I'll do a little more investing before the markets close tomorrow.

    How's the pork bellies market holding up these days? Is there still sizzle in that bacon despite the seven month epic slide in crypto-currencies and our ongoing trade war?

    Anybody know how to smoke a pork belly? If so let's hear some tips so I can maximize my investment. Whenever I'm out at a trendy bar/brewery/restaurant I see little dishes are now featuring pork belly (and most are damn tasty) and so I want to get in on that emerging market. Thanks for the help.

    The price chart of hogs looks like a triple black downhill ski run .The tarriffs will put many pork producers in the poorhouse

    It was actually on an episode of Pitmasters I watched last week. Low and slow like most choice meats.

    Yes, ebt cards make supply and demand a thing of the past when it comes to steak. It used to be if prices got to high people would stop buying and prices would come down. If everything is free that's great unless you pay for your food.

    I thought it was demand from Asia keeping prices high. I'm reading reports that beef imports from Australia to China have really picked up. Hopefully, that translates to cheaper prices for US consumers.
