Hoping someone can help with this. The lockdown bar on my popeye moves back and forth a lot even with the brass bolts tightened down. Below are photos of the receiver bar and lockdown bar. The hole on the receiver bar is really wide compared to my other machines. I am wondering if the lockdown bar does not belong with that receiver since the posts should be bigger to prevent wiggle. Do other popeye owners have this same issue or can someone post what the bar should look like?

Quoted from agodfrey:

What version ROM is everyone running? I have the euro version. There is a prototype and the euro version listed on ipdb. Are there other versions? US version? I have lx-4.
Ipdb lists export gamess as L-5. And then they just say proto. Just curious what everyone has as I have a burner and want the game to stop defaulting to German...hahah

I am running the L-5 version.

tony, I like the blue legs. Never seen that on a Popeye. Looks sharp in the little I can see in the bottom photo.

Mine always hits the middle of the right flipper. Any cracks in the scoop? I had a similar issue with my Ripley’s scoop but stopped after fixing the broken welds.
