Dont have a pic, but Sams Club has a retro full size air popper on clearance for $49....also a cool looking retro candy machine.. Got both. Bought the air popper to replace the messy oil popper. Sold out in Michigqn, my snowbird father snagged me one in florida.

I am about to try the pre-packaged kit from the Detroit Popcorn Co, just picked them up yesterday. I also got some coconut oil and Flavocol. Should I add Flavocol to the pre-packaged kit? My instinct says no........

    Quoted from vid1900:

Find your local "concession sales" and buy a gallon of "Red Coconut Oil" and #50 large yellow corn.

My problem with the gallon containers is after the first inch is gone, I have to reach further and further into the container and get oil all over my hand scooping it out. What do you guys do, transfer it to a smaller jar as you use it? Use an extendable scooper? Im sure I am missing an embarrassing ly simple fix for this....

I don't leave the popped corn in the machine, we put it in a Lock n Lock container (basically Tupperware). We eat it up to a week from there. Aside from not being warm, obviously, we don't notice any huge difference from when it's first popped.

Have a quick question. I'm not sure if it can be answered by this pic,
but here's good of a place to ask as any..
I picked this machine up maybe 15 years ago. It's still in the box.
Now that I have the room, I'm thinking about setting it up.
Maybe it's tough to say still being in the box, but will this machine
do the trick for the game room (used occasionally), or get a real machine?
    Thanks for any responses..

That's my exact machine, got it at a yard sale at least 10 years ago for $20, been running strong ever since. Waaaay back in the corner -

I get all my supplies from Detroit Popcorn Company too, about 12 miles from the house.
