    Quoted from radium:

Anyone else store unpopped kernels in the freezer? I read this keeps them fresh longer. I tried it, was surprised the frozen kernels popped about the same as room temp.
I can't think for myself and need the Internet to tell me if this is a good idea.

That is what I've been told as well. Also works for ground coffee and small disposable batteries like AA, AAA, 9volt. etc...

    Quoted from gweempose:

I accidentally left my popcorn maker on for about two hours after I popped a batch the other night. Now there is a charred caked on residue covering the entire bottom of the pot. What is the best way to clean this?

I think your best bet is to use a razor blade and scrape it clean. I have had to do that on a few kettles before when nothing else would touch it.
