If anyone was interested in buying one of the Gold Medal poppers, Sam's Club has them going on sale starting January 30th. $100 off is quite a generous discount.

I was finally going to pull the trigger on one of the Gold Medal poppers, but after seeing Vid's endorsement of the Lincoln Popper, I'm not so sure. The Gold Medal appears to be of superior quality. But, is the quality worth that much more in price?

    Quoted from vid1900:

    How much is it though?

As long as they don’t “pull a fast one” and change the base price, cost after the $100 off would be around:

    $242 for the 4oz.
    $369 for the 6oz.
    $472 for the 8oz.

    Quoted from vid1900:

This 8oz goes on sale for $119 all the time

Just to be clear, does it go on sale on Amazon for that price, or do you have to search other sites to find it for that much?

Amazon currently listing it for $189

Well, just pulled the trigger on the Gold Medal 6 oz. popper. $369 at Sam’s Club.

I was tempted by the cheaper units, but I have always been about quality and durability and I couldn’t overcome that bias.

I also bought the popcorn kit packs, as I would be “gravely concerned” about what my wife or kids would be putting in the kettle while I was away.

Well the new machine arrived and it has been popping every day since it got here.

Picked these cheese powders up on Amazon. I just put some of the powder in a gallon size Ziploc and fill with popcorn. A few shakes and voila! So far the white cheddar is beating the regular cheddar in popularity.

Just put an order in for jalepeño powder and ranch powder. I'm out of control!

I think you all should be putting the word “cheese” in parentheses when talking about whatever marvel of modern chemistry is lurking in that bag.

Ah, thanks for the clarification. I've been saying "Our Lady of the Evening" and couldn't understand why it wouldn't work...

    It works in Las Vegas.
