Hoping someone can help me remember how to wire the popbumper lights. I have 2 double wires (orange and white/orange) and 2 single yellow wires (all marked with blue tape in the photos). The yellow wires are soldered to the light sockets.

Am I correct to assume I solder the double wires to one side of the light and single yellow wire to the other side and then have to jump a yellow wire and one from the double wires to the remaining 3rd light? Plus it won't matter which wire I connect to each popbumper light as long as I follow above?

Please let me know if this is correct or do I need to do something different?

Thanks

In Bally/Williams games, GI is separated according to playfield area, and wire pairs are:
Orange - White/Orange
Yellow - White/Yellow
Brown - White Brown

In Dracula, for pop bumpers, connect the orange, and the white/orange wires (18 AWG).

It is still hard for me to follow Chris' picture. Do you mean I connect the orange and white/orange to each pop bumper light? That is different than what I had. I also have yellow wires that are soldered to the GI lights.

Usually, that's the method.

However, in many pins, thin 22 AWG yellow wire is also used: an 18 AWG GI wire goes to 1st #44 lamp socket, then yellow 22 AWG wire is used between #44 socket and bumper light.
Here is a White Water for example. I marked the 2 inputs (orange, white/orange). On the right side, there is a yellow daisy chain, bumper light is also connected.

OK thanks - I think that is what is confusing me as my game had the 22 AWG wire. Also my game has 2 Orange and 2 White/Orange wires that are soldered together - I think I will separate the 18 AEG wires and do this....

Pop Bumper 1 - Orange to one lead & White/Orange to the other
Pop Bumper 2 - Orange to one lead & White/Orange to the other
Pop Bumper 3 - Daisy chain the leads from Pop Bumper 2

Would that work?

I appreciate your help.

The wires are tied together because one side continues further down the harness. You can’t disconnect them.

Send me a PM with your e-mail, I can send you a short video that shows where all the wiring goes.

Do these help?

Thanks Bryan, dr_nybble and Davi.

I will study the pics Bryan sent - I can see a lot better in those pics with the pop bumper assembly removed. That is the way it was wired in my game.

I will also watch the video when sent to me.

Thanks - makes sense....

Thanks - I think I got it now.

I included a diagram from the under playfield perspective (for final check) on how I am going to wire the pop bumpers.

Thanks for the help, I would have done it wrong but it started to make sense once it was you all explained it to me.
