My Black Hole as of last weekend decided it's pop-bumpers (Upper and Lower) should no longer fire or score.

All fuses test good.
Tested with two known to be good boards.
One Original. One Rottendog.

All the drop targets reset. (Upper and Lower)

Could it be the 24 volt rectifier in the cabinet buy the power supply that reads:

"24V Controlled Soleniods"

What are the chances that's bad?

All pop-bumper boards known good too.

Check Connector A1-J6. I'll bet it's the culprit.

Welp, That did it for the pop bumpers. They work now.

Though re-seating A1-J6, I lost all the feature lights on the playfield. the lights that run around the back box are no longer running. And the disk isn't spinning.

Still have GI.

Trade one problem for three. Hardly seems fair

The three bank of drop targets no longer resets.

But I had this problem with this Solenoid board before the pop-bumers went out.

Although it it makes me curious as to why it worked when the pop-bumpers didn't.

Skredit: Flashing lights behind spinner still flashing, though.

It's probably all connector issues. Try reseating that whole row of connectors. A1-J5...

Your game is calling for you to rebuild its connectors.

I think Vid1900, probably knows what's up. Cause I reseated all of the connectors.

Though, Vid, do you have or know of a guide to rebuild those connectors? I've never done it.
And they look nothing like the connectors I've rebuilt on my Bally machines.

Yep, solid state Gottlieb connectors always need attention to make the game reliable.
