I browsed a few pop bumper topics and didn't see the exact information I was looking for (might be out there somewhere).

I am tearing down the playfield and the last thing left is the pop bumpers. I plan on cleaning polishing the components on top of the playfield and putting them back together . They seemed to work fine before the teardown, but but it may be difficult to access them once everything is back together so I have a few questions...

1. If I need to do some repair on the main operational components of the pop bumpers that typically fail over time, are these components typically accessible from the bottom of the playfield?

2. After removing the cap screws, and the 2 screws in the main plastic housing with the bulb, is the only thing left in order to remove the components on top of the playfield the bulb wires?

I realize this in a novice question, the information is probably out there somewhere, and I could learn the answer the hard way, but thanks for taking the time to read.

1 - the metal ring is fastened below the playfield but pulls out the top side. The coil bracket, fiber yoke and metal yoke are common break items and are under the playfield.

2 - Yes.
