Do I risk any damage to a popbumper by plaing a few games without the metal yoke?

I Want to play a few games to make sure I don't need anymore parts before I place an order.

    Quoted from maffewl:

Instead of de-soldering, you could just put a piece of electric tape between the bumper switch contacts to temporarily keep it from activating. I agree with vid though. Any new machine I purchase requires at least a new purchase of flipper rebuild kits and all bumper yokes.

Awesome suggestion! I try to do as little soldering as possible in the house. I already rebuilt the flippers, but wasn't aware of the pop bumper suggestion. I'll order the yokes for the other ones on my next order. Thanks!
