I bought 2 sets from Steve they work great for the money, plan on building my own when I get the time, his price was right for what you get.

Quoted from Trekie:

$5.00 at Walmart. Comes with multi color LED strip, power supply and remote.

They look like they will brighten the mood.

Just messing around, I would use them for a pinball machine before I would put them around my tv.

Quoted from pinball_mutha:

Ok, so I built some stadium lights and noticed if the machine is on for a while and warms up, the magnet starts to separate from the channel, I'm using .5 plastic corner guards. Is there a specific brand of magnet tape or extra double sided tape I need to use to keep them secured?

did you clean the channel with some alcohol before you stuck it on?

Quoted from JodyG:

Flush mount magnets have been working perfectly so far. Plus, the installation is very clean. You can even paint them black on a game with a black cabinet. I just did my Police force last week. I didn't get to paint the rails black yet, though... The weather was way too cold.

I bought a bunch of the magnets like you suggested and will be using them on my Gottlieb games cause most of there playfields are tight with little to no gap, I have 2 that actually rub when you open them. I built a drill fixture also, your Idea is great.

Built a set for my Barbwire with cool white strips and added a remote dimmer.

Quoted from Nepi23:

I have had to notice that small amount of current is going to the led-strips

What machine do you have it on? I have it on a Sharkeys shootout and Nascar, its hooked to the power up by the coinbox and I use a remote controlled power/dimmer switch that I bought off ebay and have no power to the lights at all when switched off.
