Hey everyone. I'm new to the club. I have a lot of posts to catch up on.
I used an angled mount for the lights,
https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0838WCLS4
The Amazon link will show you what I mean.

It came with a diffuser which I thought necessary with the angulation vs the mount to the cabinet side.

Overall, the rest of the process I used was per HurryUpPinball vids.

The lights weren't as bright as I was expecting. I plan on making another set for my BM 66. See the results and let me know what you think.

Quoted from BorgDog:

thought I'd go ahead and share my version of portable lights for streaming. I kind of ended up at this form factor as I had some of the pieces already to do it this way. First some pics:
lights attached to a machine in the shop:

and a couple of the mid magnet mount also shows the plug in the first pic:

Here are the pieces I bought explicitly for this project:
Aluminum channel amazon.com link » $15.19 enough for 3 sets
COB light strip amazon.com link » $15.99 enough for 2 sets
Molding amazon.com link » $29.99 enough for 2 sets
Other things I already had on hand:
Power Adapter Barrel Plug/Sockets - amazon.com link » $7.99 enough for 3 sets at least
Heavy Duty tape amazon.com link » $17.09 enough for 2 sets
Magnets amazon.com link » $12.99 enough for 2 sets
Things I had lying around with no link to:
scrap 1/2" plywood
screws
wire
12v power adapter
Optional:
Dimmer amazon.com link » $7.99 I did buy this, but found I just had them on full power all the time so don't normally use
The 2 sides are hard wired together and just one plug to go to the power adapter, but could wire them any way you like.
The aluminum channels I used show currently shows unavailable, but other options out there, I basically picked the cheapest I could spot. I just drilled holes and used 2 1/2" screws to attach the channel to the mount in the center. I did end up cutting about 3" off the channel length as they got too close to my hands otherwise. That also allowed for the 36" long molding to cover the entire length.
You may notice I did also cut shorter one side of the molding and is blocked too much light. You could probably get by with something like 1" wide flat stock instead and save some money. I used a table saw for the cut.
The magnet mount allows me to slide it up or down on the side rail to adjust the lighting somewhat. For machines without magnetic side rails I double-sided taped some round steel pieces (leftovers from some Wyze cameras) to the machine in the appropriate spot for the magnet to stick to.
Here is a stream using them on TNA. I started the stream without them for the first game because I liked the dark look, but turned them on about 13 minutes into it.
I use them on all my current pinball streams at https://www.twitch.tv/borgdog
Been pretty happy with them, overall I figure I have about $50 into this set with a bunch of leftover stuff.

What kind of paint did you use? I've been buying a black version off amazon similar to yours but it is close to $40 for the same amount. I still ended up painting the top of mine flat black with a paint & primer. Mine are for in the game however. Looks good. I like the streams too.

Quoted from mcalon:

No one replied, I did 70cm.
Bttf will be 1 meter.
Easy. Cheap. Can't believe this thing should cost so much from suppliers

My inner rails are 32" and 3/8ths. I followed HurryUp Pinballs instructions.
Can you tell us more about your trigger?
