sorry the order was mixed up on the loading- estimated time per machine 2-3 hours, est cost ex labor 10-15$, and best yet made the acrylic come up missing from the shop space.
Quoted from Fishmugger:Whow I really like it . Have 5 pins and don't want to spend $400 layiny around to mirror them. Where can you buy this material . How thick is it?
i hear ya- my ave pin cost about is about 6 or so, so to mirror everything i wantted would be an other pin or 2's cost, not to mention most of my pins are older and no one dose offer any for them anyways.
i picked up the material (sheet was 2'x4' @.125), at minards 3 years or so ago for 25-30$ or so i cant really remember- was gonna do a 1/2 bath in the basement with it but found a nice framed glass one so this sheet was setting around (in the way being moved ever so often)
Quoted from MustangPaul:I did the same thing to my Space Shuttle about 6 months ago, they sit on top of the wood pf side rails behind the playfield plastics which also hold them in place. They are not screwed or glued to the cab sides so I can easily slip them out when I want to raise the pf.
ya kind varies per machine clearences, the old zodiac was super sweet as i had about 1/8 on each side of the pf- they drop all the way down to the pf supports- (center the pf nicely too)-, most other i floated above the pf. had some nice cardboard and made a template- to get a good tight fit up. also the rear mirrors if you make them they lock the side mirrors- so i did that mirror last. i pull them all out befor you rase the pf so they wont rub or be in the way
