You have to light up all three sharks to start it. It will say " ok hot shot, go for the jackpot". At this point the jackpot is timed. If you do not collect great whitey will be lit. And then it will go down each shark until you cash in or it times out.

You light them by what they say on the pf. Trick shot for great whitey, chalk cue stick for hammer head light up cue for tiger shark.

Have you ever lit all three sharks? They light up each time you complete one.

8 and 9 ball are the ramps after completing the other balls in a rack. Then 8 and or 9 ball ramps. Then comes the trick shot. You have to make it before timing out to light great whitey.
