    And that's full.

Who can guess how many gallons it took?

Got all the pumps and filters working. Getting the waterfalls and slide programmed tomorrow. Its a Hayward system that for some reason is needlessly over-complicated.

Then i'm going to get back to the landscaping and other projects.

If you invite O-din over, make sure he signs the waiver.

    56,000 gallons?

    #257 5 years ago

I'd say 95,000 gallons. How do you plan for evaporation? Can't wait to see this lit up at night.

    #258 5 years ago

Don’t forget to have your neighbors over with their water hose as a good gesture

75,000 gallons, but then again I’m a bad judge of volume like this without being there

Thank you for sharing this adventure ! Glad you are to the point of enjoying it now. !

How deep is the deep end? Can you jump from the bridge without breaking something? Either way your pool looks fantastic!

    #261 5 years ago

Beautiful! Just had a pool done. Not quite as cool as yours but it is quite a large and disruptive process. Good luck!

    #262 5 years ago

My house had a large ugly above ground pool when I bought it. I had it removed by the seller that left me with a hole and potential for something new. 55934_3678717647116_425463905_o (resized).jpg55934_3678717647116_425463905_o (resized).jpg
The yard was mostly dirt, dandelions and weeds.
A late fall morning the time had come to finally fill the hole.
    CIMG0150 (resized).jpgCIMG0150 (resized).jpg
Once filled, the initial pin locations were placed to give some perspective.

It is now my golf course. Welcome to Everest Corner.

It most certainly is a large and disruptive process. About 10 months so far for me.

Its about 9 feet deep. So plenty deep enough. Thanks!

Holy moly! Nope not that much.

It will have an auto fill installed.

Me too. Should have light automation sorted out in a day or two.

    You have very nice grass.

So what's the cost to fill this up? I'm in portland Oregon area and we almost bought a house with pool that wasn'ttoo big and it was something like 1000 to fill it up I think realtor estimated but idk exacts

    #287 5 years ago

All you need is to hook up a hose to a fire hydrant and wallah.

    #288 5 years ago

    About $1800.

Which is a bargain compared to buying gallon jugs at Walmart for $1 each.

You should occasionally reenact the bridge scene from Temple Of Doom at parties.

Awesome, Epic even! How come no one is in the pool? I’d be there with a beer in my hand as soon as it was filled with water
