    Quoted from Pinballlew:

Yeah this sums up my thoughts that I kept to myself when they told me about it too. Who knows though sometimes people stretch the truth. ?I saw pictures of it only through the local real estate magazine when they sold their house only...although nice I can’t imagine paying that much for the Rock work...I’ll have to see if I can find the magazine I kept and post the ad.

I think the mag has been lost...looked where I last had it...anyways PACMAN rock work looks better to me.

Grabbed some nice wood planks, similar to teak but not as expensive. Its really dense and heavy.

Didn't want to just have straight boards so cut off the edges with some organic looking edges.

Seems to me that it would have been easier to do that with a ladder on some plywood from underneath. Looking great though!

This pool is amazing! All it needs is the old skull rock waterfall from Disneyland.

    #234 5 years ago

I’m planning on some around Halloween time actually

    That thing was amazing!!

Kicked around the idea of going with a pirate theme. It was very tempting but I decided that going with an adventure theme would probably appeal to more buyers down the road when/if it came time to sell the place.

I think you made a good choice. You can always dress up an adventure theme with pirate decorations if you get in the mood.

I am betting you worked your Butt off to create something so beautiful Congrats. Absolutely amazing. I think you are about to be the most popular person on the block let alone the town. lol Thanks for sharing your amazing creation.

That pool area really needs a Disney-like IJ machine with the wood/crate looking cabinet...

Very nice so far. But then I don’t think I’ve ever seen a thread where the OP posts his stuff and it was ever done halfassed. His vid restores have been beautiful.

Plumbing and pumps for the waterfalls and slide. Poured an additional pad so it was a little more out of the way. I have a cool idea for how i'm going to hide this equipment.

Some of the old gunnite was a bit crumbly so it had to be bashed out and redone to prepare for the new plaster.

Went with Pebble Tec Tahoe Blue. The next day the plaster was power washed to expose the pebbles.
