I say you pipe in some natural gas lines so you can have permanent torches going at night....fit right in.

    #64 6 years ago

i thought about it but propane is SUPER expensive here.

This is fantastic. I've actually thought about my dream pool and this has a lot of the same features. I especially like that you'd be able to do some "cliff jumping" off the waterfall. I think many designers go for the slide and forget how much fun kids have just jumping into the pool. Did you consider anything for lap swimming? Like you, I prefer the natural looking design, but one consideration I had was to try to make sure the areas perpendicular to the longest distance across the pool were on flat areas. I also though it would be fun to have a small rock climbing wall on the side of the waterfall. Just make sure it's greater then 90 degrees, so you don't catch your chin on the way down. Still like I said, this is pretty close to my dream pool. Nice work.

PS: I manage the pool in my community.

Pac you should hide some secret images in the rock sculpts. Like a little Pac-Man or Mickey Mouse head like they do in Disney. They even did it in one of the Indiana Jones movies.

And he's worried about the price of propane?!

    #100 6 years ago
    Quoted from DennisDodel:

And he's worried about the price of propane?!

I agree he needs to revisit the cost of them especially being a fan of Indiana Jones. Two would be unreal and so cool and two torches would burn minimul propane...I’m sure 10 gallons would last the summer.
