maybe but while I am glad they did the LCD finally, I need to see it in action. It's going to be a bit tough to iron out IMO.

More info please! Especially on whether or not stern has corrected or even addressed their playfield quality issues.
This could be cool--who knows until someone actually is able to see/play one--but the figures being thrown out as to how much BM66 will cost makes this vote easy--not a chance.

this will be a crazy price in Aus just for the base model and apparently the LE will be more expensive than recent LE's rumoured to hit $13-14K.
also I cancelled my GB pro due to the insert debacle - once they make a formal statement of finding the issue and solving I will not by a NIB.

Certainly a factor, I think it is also hard to put money down on an item when you don't know the price for them item you have never seen.

Would probably pre order if there was a Pro version. Just not sure I'm ready to spring for a premium - would have to sell some favorite games. It would have to be spectacular. I already have no doubts the art package will be excellent
I cant wait to see more details about this machine.
I hope they stuck with the original sound effects from the show of like the punch sounds and the Batman theme.

Stern is just phenomenal at maximizing profits while reducing production requirements as they develop the market direction how they want.
It just incredible how quickly things are changing in the industry and how much people may or may not understand in the search for their new toys. You also have to give credit to their marketing division when people are willing to purchase games simply for a "Super Limited Edition" at a $12,000 MSRP which actually may be higher dependent on features.
This was the "proposed" final price.

Owners are pricing themselves right out of the hobby, which is growing more rapid every month.
The distinction between "have and have nots" will grow increasingly segregated, just like a third world country for those that wish to own modern or late model pinball machines.
Not much an individual can do, if people do not see the realities.
The market is controlled by collectors, not manufacturers, but right now people do not want to see the distinction.
