I poked at Mirco last week about doing WCS94. He said it is definetly a possibility but he was unclear on where/how to acquire the license. Honestly, I'm not sure either. Anyone have any ideas? This is a much needed playfield....for me.
I'm still voting for WCS94....unfortunately, I still have no idea how the licensing works for this title. I see Pinball Arcade had to re-brand the title.
Didn't Mirco mention in post #267 that Indiana Jones is coming? Has something changed?
Another shameless shout out for WCS94!!! With CPR on-demand plastic sets and Starship Fantasy flirting with the release of ramps, we need to get a repro playfield for this awesome pin.
Quoted from Highclasspinball:
Please help me, who is tpa? I think the rights holder should be in Europe but not sure if it is possible to get it...
TPA = The Pinball Arcade (pinball app for ios/android/pc/console/etc). TPA removed all the copyrighted material when they released the table.
Given the number of WCS94 machines with blowout at the saucer holes and goalie wear, I think this would be a good choice. However, I have no idea what it takes from a licensing perspective.
With ~8800 WCS94 machines out there (most of them with blown up kick out holes), there has to be considerable demand for a repro playfield. Anyone know what hurdles must be cleared to get the licensing? With plastics available and ramps in the pipeline, it would be great to have a new playfield.
