Yeah I doubt a remake of Tron would be cheaper then the original...lol
I forgot to add in my last post .... South Park. All the new characters (have a Timmy vs Jimmy cripple fight mode), make it more adult themed (Xmas Critters mode), new rules and layout (more poo), and bring back the carpet munch video mode

Aren't the originals $10K by Christmas though?
So an interesting point was brought up. How many machines would you have to sell to make it worth doing a re-run? I was also curious if Funhouse was re-ran do you think they could sell very many at say $6000 or $6500?
Man lots of demand for Tron...didn't think to add that to the poll...only 9 spots for a poll though. I am sure Stern will produce a VE sooner or later...hopefully after all the playfield issues get sorted out.
Quoted from Pimp77:Lots of Trons out there to buy...why would anyone want a remake (unless it's a premium)?
Oh I think they'll be more than enough people lining up for for a sweet as Tron Super Duper Limited Edition

I'm only interested in buying if I get personal invite, and said personal invite must be fore-mentioned in a publicity flyer, so I can "In your face" my pinfriends when I get my ultra rare Tron home.

Shiny brand spankin' new with upgraded features. (Fully expecting that Stern will charge top $ for it too.)

10k by Christmas may be no joke.
Just an impression on my part but I believe that there are a number of pub and small bar operators that wouldn't mind having a game or two. But so many of the new games are so complicated and also expensive to learn or maintain, they won't go near them.
That said, 8 ball deluxe was a great game to play and IMO, could easily be manufactured with today's tech at a relatively low cost. The main thing that would worry me is that we've watched nonsense like Zizzle games, "the pin" and a goofy effort to sell at CostCo.
The real problem isn't building a game, it's coming up with a strong nationwide method to sell it. And even more than that, something that the owners or sellers won't be baffled when it comes time to service.
I wonder if a kit would be feasible....like a fully populated playfield, backglass, and side art to older titles...provide your own cabinet and assemble yourself.
Quoted from Lethal_Inc:LOTR, sick of seeing beat up routed examples and wanting top dollar.
I don't see this happening but yeah a great game...a lot are HUO though so you should be able to get a nice one that comes around that isn't thrashed.
I'd do Cactus Canyon for sure if they cleaned up and finished the code a bit. Kind of surprised Attack From Mars didn't get more votes.

Maybe because the rumor that it is next up? Just speculating
Monster Bash. The game is too damn expensive.
But I don't think PPS will do it for a reasonable price. I had alot of enthusiasm and excitement, but it totally died.
Star Gazer, Seawitch and Quicksilver are all stern games that could be remade..
Bally: Fathom, Medusa, Eight Ball Deluxe
All these titles are commanding high dollars for good condition.
