    Quoted from razorsedge:

I love pinball. I hate seeing them being abused, especially if they're mine.

    Adjust your tilt accordingly.

    Quoted from Black_Knight:

The big question is - If you slide save on location, do you relevel the machine after your game?

    Quoted from Spyderturbo007:

It's like have a conversation with a 6 year old.
I'm still waiting for you to instill some wisdom on everyone as to the physical damage I've subjected my machine to all these years.

You have to just move on and not get emotionally invested. There are all types in pinball; and this is just a standard "diaper rubber;" 1000 threads with these weirdos on here.
This is the byproduct of becoming a home market.

    Always 2am somewhere

    #104 4 years ago

Do you have a location name for this type of move? Around here it's called a "Detroit slide," and I always assumed people call it a 'melbourne slide' or whatever their location is?

This is also basically an update of the "I'm leaving Pinisde..." thread except it's "I'm leaving competitive pinball..."

    "The pinball late starter

    Sounds aboot right.

    Quoted from Kiwipinhead:

We have a few IFPA players that slide save a nudge the shit out of the machines...The look on their face when they tilt out is priceless

They must be pretty low ranked if this is the first time they're encountering a machine with a tough tilt.

    Quoted from razorsedge:

There you go, pinside says opposite to the real world local pinheads.

Can I get a mod in this thread please? How long are we going to have to hear Australia is the "real world?"

Just a drunk weirdo. Fucking 3 day bender

'Bro was the nudge gentle enough?'
'I don't know, you almost got a tilt warning friend'
'Oh heavens I'm so sorry what a brute I am...I would never try to harsh your mellow'
'It's OK, it's OK; Embrace me'
    'Hugs always help don't they'
    'I love pinball friends'

Some of you people need your coin slot pissed in.

Funny tough guy approach to speaking about a topic like pinball machines.

It's not a tough guy approach, it's a pinball players approach.

    Quoted from MrBubbles:

However, I'm 220 covered in tattoo sleeves.

    Sounds super tough.

    Quoted from Luckydogg420:

If you were to buy a used game and found out that the previous owner regularly used slid saves on the machine.

"Slide save documentation" is the shoooter lane pics of the 2020s

    Quoted from CaptainNeo:

99% of the time. Tournaments arn't ususally held on route. It's always privately owned collections and games.

    Quoted from chuckwurt:

This maybe used to be the case. But now, I’d say 90% of tournaments are on location.

Don't get too into the weeds with this stuff. Leagues/tournies are diff'ernt all over.
Location, location with the router in the tournament, home locations, in a barn....etc. All sorts of places involved.

    Quoted from JimmyJames:

As for stalker... don’t flatter yourself. Merely showing the true count of your up and down votes.

Sadly it doens't tell the whole story. When I first took notice his % was around 43, so it must have been higher than that at the start of this thread. That's still low and shows he's kind of a a buffoon (shocker), but he's just trolling ot get down as low as possible.

    #583 4 years ago
    Quoted from JimmyJames:

If I am playing in one of your tournaments and the foot of the machine moves inadvertently or accidentally, but not on a SDTM save attempt... do I get DQ’d?

The best part aboot any tournament is moving the fucking machine like 4" and only getting 2 tilt warnings. The breaths, the gasps, the loser in the back yelling you're a cheater....that's what make it all worth it.

    #586 4 years ago
    Quoted from Humph:

Would a bounce-back also DQ you in a tournament if this happened all on its own without player intervention ?

No that's a lazarus, happens all the time.
There's no problem with a ball bouncing back.

Dude that was a joke about spilling beer...

Dude and I was drunk as shit when I made my post...synergy!
It was a bit harsh, I apologize

    Quoted from Rager170:

I agree.. In my house, you wont get away with any of that crap as my tilt is tight haha. As well as rubber feet to stop movement.

    Now...here's an actual douche owner...

    #800 2 years ago
    Quoted from Rager170:

Lol awwww, sorry if my opinion differs from you and you get all butt-hurt LOL

Ha not butt hurt at all. I love these tough "nobody gets away with that shit in my house posts;" they're Pinside classics. Like people are lined up begging to get in your sweet house to play your ultra tight games you cant nudge or they tilt thru...exciting! line of zombies not moving just groaning and swaying.
    Takes all kinds.

    Quoted from Rager170:

I can bet you, if you showed anyone who isnt into pinball....

    Why would we care?

    #825 2 years ago

People get pretty pissy when you tell them they have to play BCA pool rules.

    Pretty sure it was sarcasm

If there's one thread I can never tell whats real & what isn't; it's this one. And that's fucking saying something.

    Quoted from Rager170:

. Seems very serious on Pinside these days...

Always tense in a troll thread like this one.

    #870 2 years ago
    Quoted from Rager170:

    Id disagree with that...

    No shit.

    #881 2 years ago
    Quoted from Squizz:

You wouldn't be playing my machines anytime soon if your were to do that!

    Never ends around here!
God I hope we would have other things to do in a dream vacation to Australia other than sit in some diaper rubbers house.
