Im getting black.

Although green is evocative of little green men etc...
And dark red for a Martian red maybe as a mod?

Personally I am colorblind so the green doesnt do it for me, but people say it looks nice in person.

Quoted from T7:

Doesn't stainless seem like a step below powder coated though? Although I get someone might not like the powder coated colors. Powder coated trim normally seems to cost about $400 extra.

Stainless is a more durable, easier to fix/replace option if the game goes on route.

Quoted from CosmoJoe:

In for an LE! So excited. There was some pushback from the wife but AFM being her favorite pin helped Ordered in green but the pic in the thread with the black trim has me very tempted to change

Quoted from bigdaddy07:

In on an LE with green trim. I may change my mind to black. It was a difficult choice.

There is plenty of time to make a final decision.

I really dont want the black to be super shiny, it shows smears and finger prints too much (IMHO...).
Black with a tiny bit of green/gold metallic might be cool. I have to see that though...

As a second-hand owner of an MMR LE, I'm just the slightest bit bummed I can't jump on the # matching thing... but I get why the system is in place. It's gonna be SUPER tough, but I'll probably get over it eventually with the right balance of therapy and meds.

I would call Rick and ask for a matching number, Its not like someone else has the same number.

Stainless for me... funny if that becomes the rare option

Its a good choice, you can always move the new rails to another game and order whatever color you want from pinallplating.com

Quoted from MrSanRamon:

46 Green
74 Black
16 Stainless
Still about 1.6 to 1 Black over Green.
I'm still in for Green...I want the game to look different than anything I have so far!

I think it has to do with the excellent work that Bryan Kelley and Chris at HEP have done in the past.
Their renditions of AFM in black were ground breaking and stunning at the time, and seem the perfect match to a lot of us.

Looking at what pinballplating.com has to offer, I imagine you can get any color under the rainbow that suits your vision of the perfect look!

Im interested if a dark red that matches the cabinet looks good. I think it would look cool though.

The game is stunning in any color you put on the armor, there really arent any bad choices here!

I went with the black because I think it goes better with the over all finish of the game.
All the edges of the back box are black, and the edging in the artwork is black.

Not trying to be super matchy-matchy but I like the sharp look of the black as a stand alone.

If my game was body to body in an arcade, I might choose green to make it stand out a bit.

I think all the choices are excellent, and in a pinch you can get any color these days just send out the parts for powdercoating or plating!

I still want to see what a dark red looks like, If done right it might be as sharp as the black IMHO...

Quoted from Concretehardt:

The black definitely seems like the safe play here as I won't have the chance to see the game in person before it ships. If I ordered the green I would send the back box hinges in to have them powder coated to match as I don't care for the green on black look.

Green on Black = The Green Hornet (coming soon)
