Has a license ever been so mishandled as what JJP did with Toy Story?

Even if one has, hopefully it wasn't priced so nuts....

I know Beatles was crazy expensive, but I think they had no choice but to go with early Beatles? (as part of the license restriction)

I wonder if JJP can shift over to doing a TS4 SE at around 8k...? What could they strip from it to bring it down?

The Duke CaBoom ramp shot is dullsville compared to GZ. This is what it looks like hitting the CaBoom ramp a dozen times in a row.

I know who it is and that he's good, I posted the vid because someone said hitting the CaBoom ramp was way more exciting than what GZ had to offer. So I wanted to show that if you hit CaBoom once or even a dozen times in a row....it's not all that exciting.

And the real problem is there's nothing much else going on with the TS4 playfield.

The one thing they can't blame on material costs is how they mishandled the license. If they had done a pin of Toy Story 1-3. it's like printing money. That same jump ramp becoming Buzz Lightyear's "To Infinity and Beyond" take-off is such a slam dunk, it's nuts. When we played it at Ayce Gogi a while back, my pal actually asked who the motorcycle toy was - and I know he had seen Toy Story 4. That's how unmemorable that character was.

That is so bizarre, it's almost fascinating. It would be ike them saying, yeah, we had the entire Matrix license, but we decided to just do Matrix 4 with middle-aged Keanu and the crappy actor-replacements because it was "the new movie". JJP will regret this choice for a long time, a full & toyful Toy Story could've been their Deadpool, a title they can run for several years.
