Orange Juice is crap and not a **healthy** part of anyone's diet, at all.

The corporations have convinced you that you should drink 2 twelve ounce glasses of it a day, but each glass contains NINE TEASPOONS of sugar!

Those 2 glasses of OJ are your ENTIRE DAY'S worth of carbs.

Or think of it another way, if you or your kids drink 2 glasses of OJ a day, that's 140 CUPS OF SUGAR A YEAR.

Don't be a fool, there are thousands of healthy foods, and OJ is not one of them.

As an added bonus, "Not from concentrate" OJ is worse than the concentrated stuff.

Orange trees only have one crop a year, so they have to pasteurize the OJ (heat it to 180*F) , then store it in giant tanks for up to a year.

This many month old, cooked OJ, tastes terrible, so the corporations have to add perfume and brighteners to the "100% pure" OJ in order to make it resemble something drinkable.

The perfume packets added while packaging is the most important step in the process, and many different labs battle it out to create the ultimate flavor pack.

That's why OJ you squeeze yourself tastes nothing like the Not From Concentrate stuff you buy at the store.

Here is a likeable broad explaining it in plain english:

    Quoted from TheLaw:

    WTF do you live, Florida?

    Sadly, I have lived there.

People who live in FL can also tell you that oranges are dyed that bright orange color.

They sure don't look like that when you pick them in your backyard.

Even worse, the label does not have to tell parents that the oranges are boiled in orange wax to color them:
