Spinal Tap and PF layouts looking similar.
GTF has the potential to be the sleeper hit as it's the only theme with near universal appeal. FF also obviously has the king of the hill position to start and will probably sell the most, Stern is the big boy and this has great art. And Stern will at least produce their machines and finish their code.
Pulp fiction has great retro appeal and Godfather is a beautiful machine, but the themes and value for dollar are limiting.
Scooby build quality is a big concern.
no opinions on the others as I haven't seen much yet...

Another good assessment. Will be interesting to see what GTF does on Wednesday poll wise.

What do you mean, color scheme or actual layout? And in what way do you think they are similar?
Quoted from EalaDubhSidhe:Queen being a European machine might be under-represented in the poll a little.
FWIW, I played Queen at Expo last fall and a dealer recently. Both machines felt like a garage quality homebrew. Rudimentary layout, clunky, ball traps, just not feeling it whatsoever. Music was great of course, and I didn't mind hearing live versions instead of the overplayed studio recordings.

Layout. Both have...scoop on lower left, 3 drops in center, targets on lower right, 3 pops behind the center drops.

This is what I expected from just looking at the layout. Not a big fan of live versions because sound quality is usually not even close.

Thanks for pointing that out. Good comparison.

I’ll apologize for pointing it out. I wish I never saw it (have PF on order).

PF is the better option, good choice.
Just realized I need Pulp Fiction to go along with Maiden and complete my collection of games with 666 in the art. Are there others?
To get things sizzling, truemagoo102 posted his little poem ditty about GTF (you really put some thought into this):
“TWAS THE NIGHT BEFORE TANKMAS
Twas the night before Tank-mas and all through the house
Not an ice cream was stirring, not even Haagen Dazs
The pinballs were all boxed in the factory with care
In hopes that Saint Nordman soon would be there
The buyers were ready, their hands on their checks
With visions of playfields with all the cool mechs
When out in the showroom, there came such a roar
A FREAKING TANK entered and drove down the floor
With a little old driver, pulling out all the tricks
I knew in a moment he must be DAVID FIX!
His voice bursted out now: "YOU PLAY MY NEW GAME!"
He whistled and called out the features by name:
Now "Space Tanks," now "Sundaes," now "Super late gameplay revealing!"
On, "Cameras that only point right at the ceiling!"
Then he pressed both the flippers, the tank head would rise
And guess what all you doubters? The game magnetized!
Yes the bash toy in the center wouldn't just block the ball
But it flew though the coin door, targets and all
The term Galactic Tank Force wasn't just a creation
It was a sentient being, of pure innovation!
(With pricing to cure all the talk of "pinflation")
David sprang to his tank, to his team gave a "YUP!"
And Ryan McQuaid and co, packed the game up
But I heard him exclaim, ‘ere he drove out of sight,
"Happy Tank-mas to all, and to all a good-night!"

Interesting question as I’m not aware of others either.
I voted Pulp since that’s one I ordered already.
Here’s my dilemma have Elvira and Maiden on order but also CC SE+ and Pulp LE.
However I’m only going to be buying 3 total due to space and cost.
Overall was debating Maiden or Elvira one or the other, I’ve played them both a lot. But I also like new pins that are just out like Pulp Fiction will be.
So I got to think maybe skip both of them and get Godfather LE instead.
I’d like to hear opinions about Godfather especially about the code. Code is very important to me. I’m going to try and play one soon but often on my first plays I find it’s hard to grasp the rules.
I’m also thinking about a P3 but nobody near me that I can try one out and since it’s so radically different I really need to try it first.
Thanks

Anybody in Colorado interested in a P3 is welcome to stop by my place. I'll be glad to slide the glass off and open it up for a full tour of the machine as well as play it. I have Weird Al in right now and Final Resistance is on order if you want to wait for that.
I'm always glad to dispel any of the misconceptions that some people have and it's nice to make new friends.
Pulp fiction is out voting Godfather.
Too bad you don’t have a poll that you could vote for more than one option.
People are always clamoring for those rare games, believing simple rarity equals value. Those people might want to change their votes and put money down on Spinal Tap.

No telling when you'll get the latter two. Chances are, all four will be spaced out enough to have time with each, and you'll know which one should go by the time the last one arrives.

Nice problem to have, but first impressions are usually right. Check pinball map to find out where a P3 might be near you to try it out before you commit to 3 games.
Quoted from Thunderbird:Live acting looks to be well done too!
Quoted from Aurich:[quoted image]
I mean I haven't seen acting like that since Debbie did Dallas or Nailing Palin! Gona hafta miss me with that bra but want to play.
Come on guys give AP a break until we are able to see more. Bold move to try something different with live actors. We’ve only seen tiny clips so far. We’ll know more after seeing a game play stream about the live acting. Most important part is down on the PF anyway.

But this is what they chose to show you! Imagine what's behind the curtain..lol!

You’ve got a point. Could be worrisome, but Mystery Science Theater has sure pulled off some very bad acting, lol.

It was LEDs all along!
