Most likely TOTAN (not that it is necessarily on my list)

#102 61 days ago
Quoted from John_I:

Yeah if they could swing a wide body and land the license, IJ would sell HUGE!!

It will never happen or be remade.

#103 61 days ago

Interspersed with any original games of their own. And in no particular order. I think PTC, TOM, and EFL.

Argh damned i didnt know that !!

It has to be TOTAN --
However, kind of funny to mention what is in the news: Miramax — the movie studio behind the classic crime movie "Pulp Fiction" — is suing Quentin Tarantino, the film's director, over his planned sale of NFTs from the 1994 film. Did he do this all for pinball???

#110 60 days ago

I hope it's TOTAN. I'd be all in on TOTANr LE.

I see an original game coming next as game 5.

The Ben Heck/Spooky/CGC collaboration game is one of the next 2 games.

Quoted from RA77:

I bet by June 2022. They are trying to do 2 releases a year.

All in in on the next game from benheck - wonder if it will use Pinotaur?

Are they expanding the line? Not sure how you can do 2 games a year producing 60 or so games a week

I am sure they will.make an announcement if/when they expand.

You think they will ever remake Addams, or are there too many licensing issues?

Cool
A wide body
So perhaps there is a chance for Indy ?

Do we know if that is CGC ? , someone else, or just a VPin ?

I've had a twilight zone here for months on loan and don't play it. Walked away from Adams family after a couple games on the weekend, first time i played that, it's ok, but didn't excite me like Indiana Jones did. the theme integration and all the loopy little fun shots (that are meaningful score wise) did it for me. such a beautiful pin too.

We already know you don't like real pinball.

Could just easily be artwork for Mirco to do a playfield.

That photo is from the One We Don't Talk About, kind of strange. Ford looks even older now

It *might* be, but then CBS would have (or should have) submitted the Mirco playfields as the "evidence of use" required by the USPTO. CBS hasn't and has extended the deadline back in July to early 2022. I think we'll know more in early 22 when they have to extend again...

Relented and brought it up the front for a spell, just for you.

There's no question it's surrounded by it's betters though.

Don't tell rotordave that. He's got a hundred machines or more and Alice is his fav.

ACNC is a great game. I have 9 pins in my collection (many high end) and Alice holds its own with any of them. It’s a fun, original game with shots you have to work at. It has fun modes and it’s well built.

Now if they would just announce FHr.

If CGC ever remade Indiana Jones pinball adventure the bank they use would have to build a new vault just to store all the money they would make from selling that machine. They would be backlogged with orders for 2 years.

#137 58 days ago

I don’t see TZ or IJ ever being remade only because of the quantity of the originals already produced in the 90’s.

They made more TZ and IJ’s individually than all the MM, MB, CC, and AFM combined.

I think that’s why those remakes sold so well, they were great games and harder to attain.

#138 58 days ago

Will be super cool if they continue to make update kits for other machines. It’s like getting a remake out of your existing line up.

#139 58 days ago
Quoted from SkaterVet:

Since this is a CGC thread. I should point out in the Funhouse 2.0 thread that PPS and Pedretti are going to do a system 11 kit once a year. Not CGC.

At first glance I mistook Harrison Ford for Freddy Krueger in that picture. Getting old sucks.

I think it was the angle and my small phone. It just didn't look like him to me.

I saw the CGC guy at Free Play Florida yesterday. The CCr sure is pretty. The LED lighting really makes the game look better than ever. I did mention to him that no one will be buying ToM or ToTAN because those games suck and he should make White Water next!!

#145 57 days ago

He probably thought you were handicapped.

They work hard at shows. I'm sure a good laugh helped lift his spirits.

Yeah it was late in the evening and it was kind of a fun conversation. He knew I was joking but he also shares a love for Whitewater. Free play Florida directly follows IAAPA, so he was at IAAPA show Monday through Friday and then moved the games to Free Play Florida Friday evening. Talk about busy and working hard, you hit the nail right on the head!
